    these are the very reasons that Labour will not win the General Election.

    it's not because that their policies are better or worse than the tories but because Brown doesn't have the public image needed to be PM. he's a bit of a peice IMO.

    it's quite sad that we as a country are being swayed who to put into power for the next 5 years because of comments made to a colleague or because of acting performance on TV debates.

    Seriously, although i know this is terrible can any one honestly say they haven't done similar? I know I have, and feel shameful about the times I have.

    My issue is more with his mealy mouthed apology where he apologises ''if'' he has done anything wrong.

    Obviously he shouldn't have said what he did, but this is just the sort of stuff that we will see more of in the days ahead as the Tories desperately try to get a majority in the Election. Every !!!!-up will be scrutinised to make up for the fact that the Conservatives have very few alternative policies.

    Well I have to say that has absolutely made my day.

    I've heard her comments - If brown thinks having opinions like hers is bigotted then he has probably just alienated a good percentage of his traditional vote.

    And she was a life long labour supporter too!
