What was 'secret' about it? Brown agreed to wear the microphone. He simply forgot it was there and Sky was, if I recall, broadcasting live at the time.

The genie was already out of the bottle and no amount of spin or casuistry from Labour fanatics will get it back in there.

I believe it was broadcast, as stated it was an open mike to all press not just sky so everyone (press) heard it anyway.

lir this is different. dodgy builder filming is pre-approved based on evidence that they are doing something dodgy. they don't just randomly film builders undercover waiting for them to do something dodgy and just show the ones that do.

Thanks, I understand what you are saying, and agree to a degree but like the debate :D

By this token could we thus justify secret film ing the government if they were, say, suggesting another country had weapons that could kill us....wasn't that a dodgy precept?

The pseudo-outrage about how this woman is a racist or BNP supporter is absurd. It's like a reflex response to years of conditioning by our politically correct culture.
