as someone who works in the media i'm absolutely disgusted by sky for this...there is absolutely no way this was an accident.

I would be more sympathetic if New Labour hadn't been working to dismantle all our civil liberties for the last thirteen years...

Err the mic was a press mic and open to all brodcasters and press there not just sky, so not a conspiracy.

He stitched his self up, his error, no one else's.

Given the extreme effort made by the GB supporters to try and spin this, it appears to me that it may be the final nail in his coffin.

i really can't believe that this thread is still going.

the guy made a mistake (a very bad public image mistake) is it really that important to the future of the country...

surely there are more important issues that should fill up our media instead of this non-story.

It is important becuase the voter had valid questions and a reasonably respectable conversation with him and as soon as he turned his back on her, he was not only critical of her but showed contempt for her and 'her kind'.

"Her kind" being ordinary Labour supporters. D'oh!.

I find it more amusing that the hardcore labour supporters are now turning on other lifetime labour supporters.

    Pure brilliance!

Dunno how many times now I have seen her referred to as a right wing tory, BNP member..."this is the type of behaviour you get from tory supporters".

So wrapped up in trying to defend Brown, it seems every other aspect passes by, even the fact that shes a lifelong labour voter, and had already ticked labour in her postal vote!!!

    It's complete tunnel vision.

I'm sure all three parties would love for the deficit issues to be sidelined by this issue, Brown certainly has tried to avoid saying the "cut" and "tax rise" words so far....however tonight's final debate is all about the economy and so lets see how the three of them perform.
