I've tried searching both Pru Health and Quidco for "Holmes Place" and nothing pops up...

I can locate the Holmes Place offer page (on Pru) but it doesn't mention anything about six months free membership - just the £25/month offer. The site seems to feature the Boots offer now - maybe it's changed over?

    Thanks,

    Matt
  • Hi - does the holmes place voucher say that it is for use in a particular location / branch? I spend my life between 2 places (the joys of working away from home half the week) and my quote with Pru is much higher in London, so I was going to give my non-London address, but want to use the gym in London. Don't want Pru to say "your quote is for your address in Yorkshire, and therefore you must use the Holmes place gym there". Any ideas. Thanks!

I'm almost certain the T&Cs (at Pru) state that the membership is for one club only.

After the special offer 6 months, you can then pay (off the top of my head £45/month) for any standard Cannons/Holmes place club.

    It's £25 a month!

    Even better! :D

Any ideas on how I can take up the offer now it's not available on the site? It seems to default to the Boots offer at the moment.

I just tried and the gym banner flashed up automatically, I didn't even have to type holmes place into the search box.
    Keep trying!

  • I applied for this on Thursday and so far it's still not tracking in Quidco. Quidco says 0-6 days but usually 2. Should I wait 6 till I investigate it?

I'll be well miffed if I don't get the £115.

P.S. I think you can get the gym thing to come up through Quidco if you first have opened the correct link given in Martin's article. I reckon it's a cookies thing - once your browser has had it open it brings it back. That's what I did but so far Quidco hasn't tracked it.
  • Well I didn't realise I had an account but I'm glad I decided to visit and spotted this. Thank you very much for the details on this offer!
I just applied with a quote for £14.26 (20yo, no ill health/smoking core, £1k excess outside LDN) so with the Quidco £115 this should cost me less than nothing.

Just for the information of anyone trying to get this, clear your cookies, follow the second link suggested in the opening post and then click on the offer in Quidco. The Boots voucher offer should be replaced with the gym membership.

Now to decide between Cannon's and Holmes, have both neary and only a few minutes from each other. I'll go take a look sometime.

I would like to take up the offer from Pru for 6 months free gym membership but I would like my cover to start on the 1/10/06. Is it possible to take the offer now but start the insurance cover at the beginning of October? Will I still get the free membership?
