I've done 9 loads of washing too.. including 3 lots of bedding... just airing it in the dryer ready to redress the bed.. but loads is still on the line.. and the bunnies need bringing in .. and my back hurts so much I can barely stand!

time to use child labour to fetch the washing, and do the bunnies !! Think your back is trying to tell you to take it easy!!

Cat is making me laugh he is watching the birds out of the window and chatting to them.

Mine do that too - sometimes they sing as well. Always funny, just glad they only bring mice home.

    Greenbee purple hair is cool...
It's not actually purple purple IYSWIM... more very dark, almost black with a purple sheen that will probably fade to red. So purple that I can get away with and still look professional (but cool at the same time).

I've just booked myself onto 4 more cake decorating courses, still being paid for from my re-training allowance :D. So I'll be busy in June, with the walk one weekend, an evening class, one class the next weekend and two classes the weekend after!

Suppose I should find some food and find something restful to do this evening in the hope that I do something productive tomorrow...

In my magazine it recommends that you end your e bay auctions between 8pm-9pm on a Sunday as that's the busiest time, apparently.

I worked that out a while back but I always check what TV progs are on and work round those if my items are targeted at the type I think would watch those progs IYSWIM. Kiddy stuff I usually aim to finish after 8pm any evening as kids are usually in bed by then ;)

I work on free lising tbh ;)
but I might aim at being a bit more sophisticated with it...
I feel a bit mean in e baying stuff I would normally pass on to the charity shop but needs must...
I have decided to give stuff a go on e bay first from now on, unless it REALLY is not worth listing.

  • Decluttered eyebrows, DD has several pairs of earrings, I have some white linen wideleg trousers to go with the new black kaftan/tunic thingy and I have been told we apparently need to do something about the hallway because it doesn't look lived in now it's always clean!

So - birch laminate floor, beige wall, white woodwork. No window, only 3 foot across other than a little bit sticking out that you enter the bathroom through. No floor space, just a narrow dark little hall with a tiny bit of daylight at dawn or dusk coming from the other rooms and about 6 foot of wall, 3 of which are covered by radiator. A huge old mirror fills the half height alcove (waist height to ceiling) to bounce what little light comes in.

The other rooms have walnut venetian blinds and framed pictures like old French ads in my room (cowslip yellow walls and green carpet) or a huge B/W photo of a forest in the living room (pale green walls, leather sofa and red rug). My mother hates everything about it :D, the SIL says it reminds her of her flat in Paris.

    Any ideas?

I'd go with the coffee and cream for your room Piggers, as you can change the textiles as you see fit - cool and relaxing or bright and cheerful (you could change the scheme to have duck egg or dark cherry or black or deep purple for example )- and OH's lamp will stand out as a feature rather than retreat into a wider expanse of red!

But you are beggar all use to man nor beast with a slipped disc, displaced hip making you lopsided, or whatever it is, so try and do less heavy stuff in one day!
