Yum yum to the cakes, and MissA has grown, if there are only 2 left who has been eating them??? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: there are loads on that tray.

Having her hair up does make her look older but she was born aged 40 you know! As to the buns Miss A tested one before dinner then Mum, Miss A and I had 2 each and Dad ended up having 3  so they must have been good :D I can see I might end up having to go and get some more butter very soon!

Hope you managed to get some sleep.

morning all! Ds decluttered to a fishing match, OH to shops DD's are still in the land of nod!

What is it with blooming bank holidays? I had a UTI over Easter....and guess what? I reckon I've got another one! Roll on Tuesday when I can see a quack I know! It may be that there's a pattern developing as Aunt Flo has been around both times.........like I say I need to discuss it with a doc.

Yesterdays cricket was a washoout - but not before they tried to play...so I've got muddy kit to sort. Mum came over yesterday...when she rang to say she'd got home she pointed out that my family could do with a holiday - we've not had one since DD1 developed ME - 5 years now. Now yes we could do with one - but OH will not miss cricket...so I reckon its a nonstarter!

Must go and hang some washing out! Fingers crossed for better conditions today!

Hugs to all who need them

Morning all, overcast and spitting on and off here.

Have just finished ironing baby's clothes, does 1 baby actually warrant 15 vests?! LOL Need to finish sorting the bedroom for when she comes at the end of the month, have to box up my books and put them in the loft and a bit of re-jigging so the moses basket can fit in next to the bed.

Went to a garden centre yesterday and indecisive as ever came away with nothing for the bare patch of soil that I de-weeded yesterday. Ended up having a late pub lunch and then went to our local, needless to say we did nothing after we came back!

Can MissA make some buns please and pop them in the post for me AnW'sMum?!

Have a good day all xx

    Morning all

Weather watch - lots of rain overnight and windy and wet this morning.

    Plan:
    S&S
    WMx1
    little bit of filing
Sort out the 2 large boxes of DS2 pictures
Take DS2&3 to get new trainers
    polish DS2 shoes
Put some stuff in the loft and maybe do a bit of sorting.

Lamb shanks for dinner - never cooked those before and think I'll make some white chocolate and cherry muffins.

    Morning all

DS2 and I had an ok time in town yesterday and went to see friends down the road afterwards to scrounge some eggs. It would take ages to get to the farm without the car and they always buy a whole tray full, so we shared.

Made tea and Diva's apple cake (delicious), then decluttered a couple of glasses of wine. My get-up-and-go seems to have emigrated. It didn't help that it started to rain once we were back home - starting with thunder and a downpoor, then rain on and off for the rest of the day. It's looking grey and cold today, but at least dry. Cuppas and breakfast done, so I'll find somewhere to make a start. House first, garden later (in the hope that it might brighten/warm up a bit).

Must also have a serious word with DH and DS1 sometime soon. I can feel lots of stuff bottling up and if I wait too long I'll blow my top and say things I'll regret later. I usually get like this just before AF is due, but she's been and almost gone. Don't understand why I still feel like the wicked witch of the west!

Hope everyone's Sunday goes according to plan.

Hugs Mrs Chaos. I felt like that for the last couple of weeks and I've been doing some serious thinking and feel a lot calmer/happier now. Hope you have a good day. Bit rude to ask but are you mid 40's?

How did you guess, dusty? Thing is, I've been thinking seriously about stuff for a long time, but not taken any action. Everything is very clear in my head, but actual conversations seem to turn out differently. DH and DS1 haven't spoken to each other in almost a year, and it's really getting me down now. Sorry for being so miserable. Must do something active, rather than mooch.
