Another good money saving tip is to use supermarket shopping bags instead of buying bin bags - supermarket bags fit perfectly in my under sink kitchen bin! And to save on the big black bin liners, use other large shopping bags eg from clothes shops etc..or even from any kind of packaging that has a large plastic bag as part of it! I've not needed to buy bin bags for a long time..

Aqueous cream is a good cleanser as well as a good basic moisturiser.

i put ripped up chunks of polystyrene packaging in the bottom of all my big pots for drainage and it saves on compost and makes them lighter for me to move
the plants dont mind

Here are a few cheap alternatives to disposable lunch bags:

A five pound sugar bag can be used and repeatedly reused for months on end for brown bagging your lunch.

Those air sickness bags that you find in the seat pocket in front of you when flying are also very handy for lunch bags. These barf bags are a bit small but they last forever.

Here's a nifty way to make a cheap dog toy:

Put an empty plastic water bottle in an old sock (preferably one that's missing its mate) and tie it off. Dogs love the crunch noise it makes when they chew on it.

It may be good for cats as well.

I use vegetable oil to remove mascara. It has no parabens in it so very kind on eyes and takes off the wtaerproof junk easily.

Good idea Baggy, and for ladies of a certain age it's also good for the skin/helps lessen wrinkles
