I've been using a lot of onion powder recently and the cost is creeping up - discovered today that if you wash all your onion skins/peelings then dehydrate until crisp/dry they can be chucked in a processor/blender to make onion powder! 🙌 I normally compost them but now I know this I will be popping them in the freezer until I'm using the dehydrator for bloomed wild rice or I have so many it's worth making a full batch 😁DNF: £708.92/£1000

My friend likes to buy crossword / word search and Sudoku books. My mother buys liners for for her vegetable caddy. In our house, we used to get my BIL weekend papers ( he kept the weekday ones). Firstly, I cut out the puzzle pages. Then we use the remainder in the vegetable caddy. We roll the paper in the shape of a cone. Since he has stopped buying paper, we are still going through the back log but at the same time DH picks up a free paper when he travels on the train.Lots of pennies saved in two different ways.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Our raspberry canes are chucking out just under a pound of fruit a day at the moment, we're eating lots, giving some away and freezing some too. Saving loads of money on the daily fruit we'd normally eat with the breakfast Greek yogurt.
