On the subject of saving water. I just brought an electric syphon pump from ald** for just over £5 but along with my large trug in the shower and a length of old hosepipe I can easly move the water from my bathroom to wherever I need it ..today's mood is brought to you by coffee, lack of sleep and idiots.

I am fortunate enough that I live within 2 miles of Ikea so I use these as dish cloths and for wiping down my work surfaces, I can then bleach them back to white. I cut and re sew the edges and get 2 good size cloths from 1 towel :j

For the drivers.
When you park turn your engine off before you press the button to up the windows.
Once engine is off, switch the key back up so only the eletrics work and then 'wind-up' the window. Less petrol usage.Dave Ramsey Fan[/COLOR]0 -

Sounds a good idea - my DH plays havoc with pillows as he sweats through his head a lot so I'm always washing them & can never get them back in a good shape.
Do you just fold the quilt into a plain pillowcase & then put it in the 'top one'??Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -

I would imagine the best way is to fold it length ways and then roll up. Then put in the pillow case. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0
