  • :A ok went and collected te stuff she has left, not quite as dire as she first thought (although its not all of her new stuff, there are clothes and she'll have to have some time to build up a collection of clothes again) got some bits from primark, undies, pjs, a few tops, some pumps. So at least she's got some bits - £30 (glad I had a buffer this month, less off the debt at the end of the month, but no increase :D (I cannot wait for the day I actually have money to my name!)). She's actually been quite pleasant today and yesterday so she must have grown up a bit at least, and feel like we may be able to live together...

She's more stable mentally today, she was talking suicide on Thurs so that was frightening. And is starting to think about the decision she needs to make regarding the pregnancy, which she was avoiding before. She'll be ok she's got her family around her again.

Thanks for being kind and supportive everyone :A

ah bless she told me see has got £700 in loans to local authority/benefits agency which was a bit of a blow, hopefully they'll allow me to pay back at a rate I can afford. Off to check whether I can claim child benefit/tax credits...

She should be able to carry on receiving income support and they will take her loan amounts out of that. She can then also get healthy start vouchers and should get some sort of maternity grant to buy baby stuff a bit later on. It might not be ideal but she needs to have her own money and also pay off the loan herself.

Glad things are looking up :)

    Morning all!

    Anyway, today I will...
    • Walk the dog for free exercise (one done in the rain) - done 3 rain and shine
    • Finish off a few lessons - done
    • Do a job app - done 3
    • Continue to research interview college and lesson to teach - ongoing
    • Clean bathrooms -yup
    • Have a LSD - just £2.50 so not too bad
    • Act as a taxi service for OH who's going out on an end of season football team booze up - taken him but he's just texted to say he'll get a taxi home, hmmmm, me thinks a rather "tired and emotional" husband will turn up later;)
    • Make us a proper fry up for brunch to make sure he's had a big feed before boozing! - sounds like it was a good idea now, at least he went out with a full belly!
    • Check banks - done
    • All food from stores - yup
    • One load of washing, dry naturally - done
    • Put dry washing away - too lazy will do later
    • Think about ebaying a Mont Blanc pen that I was given as a gift and never used - not yet
That's it for today - hope everyone has a good one
Off to fiddle with some work whilst watching the London Marathon (I will do it one year!)

Well was quite productive but have now ground to a halt - think I'll watch a film in the calm before the storm!

    My update:

*I'm going to do uni work this weekend (this working full time and studying sucks but I am so close to the end...)
I've been doing some work on my assignment - not really enough but I'm trying to have the Mr T "every little helps" mentality :D
*we got loaned a hedge trimmer (saving the price of a new one) so if that works and OH is in we might trim the hedges, saving on the price of the man who offered to do it last week. OH has told me I'm not to use it on my own as I've never used one before, so I have no excuse not to study :D
I'm no longer a hedge trimmer virgin :D I mowed front and back and had a go at the hedge trimmer. OH did the hedge and started on our pampas grass of doom - then it rained!
*collect new library books - one will help with my uni work and I didn't think it would come in time so woo-hoo :j
Collected books - not sure about the Gok Wan ones - one wasn't very good. The one for uni I'd read already so am refreshing my memory. Not as helpful as I'd hoped.
*received a scanner from Nielson to join their panel but am having trouble getting it working :(

  • Hi All,

have had a mega busy weekend and not great for DFW but have managed to sort my head out about SW and plan to go back tomorrow - have had a coupole of rubbish weeks and having lost 7lb in 3 weeks put it all back on in 2 weeks. Am going back tomorrow to start again. ( have paid up to june so need to at least fo to the sessions). theres been a different leader every week since i started and i find that demotivating but its no excuse - its not up to other people to sort me out - i guess only i can do that!

Its poured down with rain here all day today so good job i planted all my pots up yesterdy - only problem is I've done my back in in the process so am in pain now whn i bend down - but i know my back is much worse when i'm at my heaviest - which i am so really need to sort that out!
Went to a BBQ last night - veyr DFW - cost nothing and i didn't eat much - mainly carrots and ceery with hummous - no crisps and only 1 burger without bread so that was good.

Am really looking forward to having 3 days off next weekend ( bank hol). I know this week is goign to be very tough in work so need to be mentally prepared.

Have bought berries to help with my diet this week and muller lights to snack on - they wer on offer 8 for £2 at JS.
What a long waffle... I need to go into the bank to pay £500 off my loan this week but not sure i'lll be able to get there in banking hours - its so frustrating that i can't make payments on line and that i have to physically go into the bank... But once i;ve made this payment i'll be under £2000 on my lloyds loan which will make me very happy.

I need to book baby dog in to have op so she doesn't get pregnant - will aim to do this tomorrow!!

Hope you've all had a good weekend - Good luck Determined.... we're all here for you xx
    Baby due 4th May 2013
    January grocery challenge £200
