The BA flights to Vegas flew during the last strike. It is on a 777 which has less crew than a lot of planes and it is nearly always full so BA make an effort to keep that one going. I am off with them to LAS tomorrow and due to return during the strike, but I am not worried in the leastBA flies Heathrow to Vegas. Virgin is the Gatwick to Vegas.
Typical, this is my first time flying on BA on the Vegas route and the strike happens. I blame myself for not sticking with Virgin
Trying to find out if the Vegas flights flew during the last strike if anybody knows...(or else I need to be patient enough to wait for BA to announce what they're doing!)The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
I'm just a kid who googles stuff and has never been further than a weekend in the Dales.
Stop pretending you went there for a whole weekend, we all know it was just a day trip on t'bus
In fact, you were so traumatised by that you've not been able to consider venturing anywhere else, have you? :rotfl:0 -
Fingers crossed then. I know i fly after the date but It is still worrying. I am kicking myself for not booking with virgin. The BA flights to Vegas flew during the last strike. During the last one I saw a 2010 reg BMW 7 series and Jaguar being driven by cabin crew, waving their unite flags out the windows. It's disgusting they should be forced to drive such vehicles due to their low pay scales!!!!!
*laughs*
Even though my flight is now on a strike day that post still makes me laugh. Thank you :rotfl:0 -

You'll probably be okay. however, yes, it is the worry and then havign to make POSSIBLE tentative plans incase the strike does go ahead... Saying that, I think it'll all work out alright :T <insert blind optimism here>0 -
I'm supposed to fly from Heathrow to Baltimore on May 29th. I'm hoping that as it's a non-strike day, and they only do one flight a day to Baltimore, I'll be alright. Knowing my luck the bloody plane will be stuck in the US though.0

Why? The BA flight to Vegas is a world better than the rust buckets that VS use from Gatwick. and anyway, if they cancel your flight, under EU regulations you have the right to book another carrier and BA must pick up the tab unless they can re-route you themselves, simples.Fingers crossed then. My daughter, son in law and 3 grandchildren have a flight booked with BA on June7th(strike day) Seattle to London
As they live in USA will BA still pick up the tab and reroute them if they do strike
They having been saving up for 4years for this holiday back to the uk to visit family and friends
They had to pay 4 adult fares and 1 childs as the 2 children were over 11 years old
Has anyone has any advice about how they stand if BA are on strike when they are do to flyTo create more positive results in your life, replace

You will find some useful information at the BA U.S. website HERE.
It says that BA hope to operate most flights normally to/from London Heathrow to/from outside Europe (as you probably know, BA0048 from Seattle flies to London Heathrow). There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more...0 -
