To give the poster their due, they simply stated that they were intrigued as to how you regularly commute to use a service that they state ceased two months ago..... which is in all honesty a perfectly reasonable question to ask?

I honestly have no idea whether the service has stopped or is indeed still running. Unfortunately my last trip to London was via coach due to the recent 'imminent' rail strike which never materialised. Previous to that my last journey was September 2009.
So why claim that you commute regularly to use a service that you haven't in fact used for at least eight months? dunno.gif

You really do leave yourself wide open.

  • Hi. Just a quick query really, does anyone recall exactly where the last round of strike cancellations were to?

I know short haul europe were mostly affected, but were they concentrated in one country ie france/spain or was italy badly affected too?

    Thanks

    Tell you what Will.

What is it you don't believe? The fact ive been to the US 20+ times in the last few years? The fact Ive been to:
    Ireland
    Holland
    France
    Spain
    Belgium
    Egypt
    Germany
    Denmark
    Italy
    Lativa
    Russia
    China
    Vietnam
    Malaysia (both Mainland and Borneo)
    Singapore
    Japan
    Mexico
(Can't off the top of my head think of the others)

Or the fact that by September i'll have been to (and back to):

    Italy (next Tuesday)
    India
    Malaysia
    Vietnam
    Thailand
    Cambodia
    Laos
    Indonesia

Or is it something else you doubt; the fact i was on Yorkshire TV last month as well as BBC radio, that I have work published (1 already and 2 upcoming) and have been featured in several magazines and all (i think) regional papers?? Or the fact i am doing a live link up on BBC Radio from a small rural village in India on June 23rd?
(Al the above i've not previously mentioned)

Go on, you choose which you want proving. I'll let you pick a few if you like :D

The published work, and the yorkshire tv program last month.
The time and name of the bbc radio show on the 23rd.

!!!!!!, I am due to fly to vegas on the 12th of June. No doubt there will still be a nightmare of a backlog to sort.

I will NEVER book with them again. All the worry of weather or not they are going to strike is just not worth it.
If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.
