DB, I've just had a look at that recipe on the phone, its on www.bbcgoodfood.com then do the search in the recipe box. The picture of it looks amazing!

    Thanks Jo. It looks fantastic.

I've just been laughing at DS2. He's been drying his pop-up tent in the garden and was folding it back down (no easy task) when it suddenly leapt into the air and popped up again! If only I had my video on it could have earned me £250!

Instead we are off out to buy drum sticks and a drum skin and now
he says he needs headphones too

    Have a good afternoon everyone.

    Hello,

Ummm - I failed my first driving test as well. Did a right mess of the parallel parking and approached one junction a bit too speedily :o (I was driving a lorry thou :rotfl:)

Not a happy bunny here. Did my budget and before food, clothes, household, tolettries, shoes etc it is already in negative figures and just had a very upsetting letter from the council, I have been fighting with them for 1.5 years now. The result was that I got short with DD, she ended up crying outside my bedroom when I was crying inside while calling BF saying that I am going to give DD for adoption and go and live on the streets as I don't want to play anymore.

Anyway, mega filing operation still in progress, must get most done today as I have completely covered my bed with papers so if I want to have a comfortable night sleep they need to be filed away.

I thought I didn't have any food in the house but managed to scrape together some pesto pasta with chicken and frozen veggies and frozen berries for pudding. DD was delighted and after the episode she has been very huggy and kissy with me. I guess she was shocked to see me upset as that doesn't happen often.

Ran out of ADs on Wednesday and haven't felt anything different (I am sure I would have been as upset about the council thingy even if still on them). Will go and see GP thou as soon as I can get an appointment as I am hoping she can write a letter to the blimming council so that they then leave me well alone.

Not having been pickled since last October is working its magic as now if I get upset my first thought is not: I need a drink, it is: I need chocolate. Willl go with DD shortly to visit some friends and then pop into the shops afterwards, I think chocolate will be on the shopping list.

Sorry about the essay...slides back into lurkdom...

    Afternoon all!!

    How are we all today??

Sparkles - Thank you very much for scoring July - fantastic job!:T:T Now you can have a well-earned rest!

Marru - loads of ((hugs)). You are an amazing Mummy and your daughter knows that and am sure she understands. Hope the doctor can help with the council.

Jo - yet again I'm very jealous. Nando's AND Toy story 3. Not fair!:(:rotfl:

Had hair done. Looks ok. She's cut it really nice but the colour really isn't as bold as I wanted so I was a bit disappointed. Its nice and blonde but no dark bits which was what I really wanted. She said she would use a stronger tint next time.

Had an "ARGH" moment with OH earlier. It was payday yesterday so I planned my shopping today....he got to Lidl's before me so said he would start the shopping. He did it ALL and paid for it (I'm giving him the money) before I could see what he had. To me it just looked like chocolate, chocolate, biscuits and pepsi. And he spent twice as much as I wanted to. To his credit he did get other necessary things as well but not what I would have got myself. And not a vegetable to be seen (unless you count potato's!). Lesson learned....do NOT let OH shop on his own!!:rotfl:

Piglet a happy bunny....his Grandad said if Piglet saved half the money that he would match it so Piglet could get the Imaginext fire station he wanted (£40). Piglet hit the £20 mark today in his money box so Grandad duly coughed up. Piglet has been quietly, happily playing for 3 hours!!!!:rotfl:

Anyway, off to wash up...not quite nando's tonight :( but dinner was nice nonetheless....jacket spud, coleslaw, bbq chicken and salad :)

    Miss P
    xx

    Hugs Marru.

The black dog has been visiting me for the last 3 or 4 weeks. It's pants. It will pass. It will. Go back to the Doc's.

I lost it today with DS. Being a single parent to an only child is very tough, especially when you are skint, not to mention when you are depressed!!

    Take care of yourself.
