I don't think 3 years older than me qualifies as old, sweetie ;)

I have a bit of a weird contact lens issue; obviously I've been crying on & off recently but even with fresh lenses it's like i'm looking out through a faint fog. Any ideas, anyone? shrug.gif

Maman - Sorry to hear you had such a bad start to the day.
I also hope your GP can help with the council. hugs to you ((()))

    DB x

Wouldn't want to deprive marru of hugs meant for her. I think she really needs them but hopefully narrow boat holiday will help cheer her up.

MissP, I never send my OH shopping. He has absolutely no idea of shopping frugally, just throws in anything he fancies. Bristol Zoo really took me down memory lane. I hope you have a great time. I've done big holidays with family and they have been absolutely fab. My OH has a huge family and we've rented a chateau in France (twice) and also a load of cottages in Dorset together. I hope it comes off for you. Your mum and dad sound lovely people but then they do have the daughter they deserve;)

Haven't really been following athletics too much but I'm an avid listener to sport on radio. Tonight was amazing, Britain seemed to be winning medals by the minute so I just had to watch.:T to Mo, an amazing achievement. And then Dai Green and Rhys Williams (I'm so old I remember his dad JJ):T:T (is there a red dragon smilie??)

Hope everyone who wants to be is AF tonight.

    'night all.

Contact lens thing...you've been crying so excess salt. Never works with contacts. Even if you put contacts in AFTER crying yours eyes ae still sore.

My advice....leave off the contacts. Trust me . I know. Been more or less blind since age 13. Wore contacts now for about 15 years!
