  • Maman - Sorry to hear you had such a bad start to the day.
I also hope your GP can help with the council. hugs to you ((()))

Miss P - I had to laugh at your description of OH's shopping. Piglet's done really well saving up his pennies. Its great when they get something they've been looking forward to for ages. And it also gives a bit of free time for Mum!

DS2 found a very loud shirt in a charity shop. Not exactly Hawaiian but it will do. Embarrassingly it looked very similar to one I used to have. Were loud colourful shirts fashionable sometime in the 80's? Or was it just me :o When I said I'd had something like it, he said he didn't think anyone actually WORE these (apart from fancy dress!)

    Hugs Marru.

The black dog has been visiting me for the last 3 or 4 weeks. It's pants. It will pass. It will. Go back to the Doc's.

I lost it today with DS. Being a single parent to an only child is very tough, especially when you are skint, not to mention when you are depressed!!

    Take care of yourself.

Hugs to you too 365. It can be very tough. Difficult enough without depression too.

Lots of things were technically fashionable in the 80s...it's that very few of them actually looked good! :rotfl:

I have the world's daftest injury - was shaving my legs in the shower this morning, dropped my razor & managed to cut my toe! Now it keeps catching on the sofa (I have a tendancy to curl up & tuck my feet up rather than sit properly) & it hurts :o

havng typed that out i am vaguely embarrassed my own ridiculousness! :rotfl:

Ouch! In the early 80s I decided it would be a good idea to shave the 2 or 3 hairs I had on my legs on the morning of a wedding.
Instead I removed a 2 inch chunk of flesh from my shin and went
with a very inelegant large plaster on it! I do hope I wasn't wearing a loud shirt too!
