DB, sorry to hear about your DS. I think it's pretty par for the course with young people. Did you manage to get the Hawaiian shirt? If not, I'm sure I saw some in Matalan last week.

Thanks for volunteering for August. Would you put me down on your list as 10 please.

  • Your dinner sounds fab Jo I'm jealous. We had fish and chips here and it wasn't nice!

Thanks for good wishes and commiserations for DS1. The woman he was interviewed by said they'd call back this afternoon and let him know. They didn't. Par for the course I know but still very irritating and rude

    Evening all!

DB - sorry to hear about sons driving test. I failed first time too. Am sure he will find it much better next time..less nerves maybe as he will then know what to expect? I would HATE to have to take a test nowadays!

Well, cleaning at SILS went well. My mum worked really hard, bless her. Wouldn't let me do any of the hoovering. She is a complete star and I think she's great. Must get her small bunch of flowers to say thank-you. Was very grateful of the help actually as, even with her help, my foot was hurting by the time we finished. Still, can only get better!:)

Having hair done tomorrow:eek: Am hoping my hairdresser has remembered I asked for highlights. She said she would do 3 different colours ..brown, dark blonde and light blonde. Am excited as have only every really coloured it myself. Piglet having his hair done too...always a bit of a trial!!

Hope everyone is having good Friday nights. Jo your dinner sounded much nicer than mine (light choices ready meal - sweet chilli chicken noodles). I live right my the M4 so am on my way!!!;)

    Miss P
