Just had a ham salad roll and a steak pastie if we're comparing lunches!
Doom and gloom here. DS1 failed the test and is mega fed up.
We've booked the next one already. Teacher says it was nerves.
He's been for the interview and they say they will ring after they
have seen someone else this afternoon. I hope they do!
In the midst of all this - had more drama. I had to call the emergency gas line. There was such a pong of gas in my garden it would make you sick. It has happened before and neighbours said it was their boiler but it had been checked and it was safe. I knocked on their door but there was no answer. Gas man came and checked my house and went round to theirs. Gone for ages and the end result is that the boiler is now shut off. Some gas detector reading came out at 29 and 20 means evacuate! I've been round and they are fine about it. The gas man said I did them a favour!
Now I have to go out and continue the search for a Hawaiian shirt for DS2 for a party tomorrow.

Afternoon all!! :wave::wave:
What a friendly bunch you all are - thanks for the very warm welcome!
Sounds like you all have such a lot going on - what a shame for your DS December Baby - it took me 'til my third attempt before I passed, and they do say the best drivers are those that passed second time round!
Had a horrible lunch (since we're comparing!) A chicken wrap thing from O'Briens, not very MSE, good for the diet - or even good on the taste buds! boo!!
It's OH's 30th today, since we went to his m&d's for a family meal last night, I didn't quite stay on the wagon. I had one glass of Rose though and then called it a day! I will have a few wee drinks tonight as we're out for dinner to celebrate, but I'll be taking the car tomorrow so will defo be booze free then - and then my first challenge starts on Sunday!:D
Sim So sorry to hear your news - not a lot I can say, just try keep yourself busy I suppose and work your way through the bad days! ((HUGS)) to you though.
Newroadahead - I hope the asthma attack wasn't too severe! Are you feeling any better now?
Fedupandskint - well done on the inch loss! :T:j:D I've recently started running too - although I've somehow managed to put weight on! Go figure!? :huh:
Misspiggy - Good luck with the cleaning! Ouch to the broken foot! I hope you're not pushing yourself too hard to get back into it!
Hope you're all having a good day!
