Thanks Jo - I won't! you are very knowledgeable about this. Got the cotton buds today and some saline solution but they only sold it in little tubes costing 69p each. I got 5 for the mo. Would boiled cooled water with salt be ok do you think?

    DB x

Yes that's fine but only use sea salt, not table salt. Table salt has loads of other stuff in it, sea salt is pure.

Saline is expensive as you get such a small amount but I'd rather pay out for the proper stuff than risk infection, this is what kids don't understand! How's it healing?

Just a quick thought...is contact lens saline the same?? IF so then tesco do a big bottle for about £3 I think? I could be completely wrong and, if so, just ignore me!:D

    Morning everyone!

Sparkles - 2 days done on challenge for me please!

Maman - don't put yourself down, sounds like you are doing brilliantly to me. Surely moderation is everyones dream on here...well done you on doing it!:T

My god, last day of June already! Its Piglets second school visit today and my Mum is having to take him for me :(. I'm really peed at having to miss taking him. My Mum is being such a star though. Today is the 3rd day in a row she'll spend at my house. Poor woman will be shattered!

Good thing is, I'm rediscovering hobbies! Actually did some cross-stitch yesterday !:D

Miss P well done on the Cross Stitch, that's something I finally gave to a charity shop after never doing it. I always thought it would help me not snack watching tv by keeping my hands busy but never tried it.

At least next time Piglet has to miss something he really wants to do you can use this example to show him how it's done...

I slept great until 5am Camden party goers came past and after tossing and turning for a while was really asleep when the alarm went off so can't have been awake too long.

Hope your day goes well everyone. I'm off to the pub tonight. I'm planning to order a diet coke or lime and soda. Or tomato juice or bitter lemon depending what I'm in the mood for. Suddenly wondered what all 4 would be like in a huge glass but that's not a good plan!

    Have a good day everyone.

hi everyone hope its ok fokr me to join. i'm lou and i think i am losing a battle with the drink. a bit about me - i suffer with post natal depression. unfornately depression has been around for long time. had it on and off over the years. maiking myself sound old now but i'm only 26. between the alcohol and depression and other things i do to cope, it has cost me my husband and son. i have no faith in my gp at all. i have a cpn who i've seen once anf really do not like.

i grew up in an alcoholic family and swore to myself i wouldnt end up like that but i'm headed that way :(
