Not AF today in spite of being quite ill this morning/afternoon.

But *rolleyes* I didn't actually stop at the shop and buy any beer, I just drank the 1 can of guinness that I didn't drink before I went out last night (lucky I didn't drink it yesterday ). So I'm not upset with myself. I also have had lots of opportunity to drive to the shop and buy some more all evening as DD1 is in to watch the kids and OH is out all night so he wouldn't know. But I didn't......so there :D

    Right then

I forgot about this day by day on holiday

It was 3mths since I last had a drink and had a sm part of a pint on holiday and then remembered one of the reasons why I has stopped

The skin around my eye burns like it has acid on it, as I was camping I never saw it and it happened each time I had a drink and I had a weeks break from the eczema cream which reacts in some people with alcohol

Today I cleaned a cupboard out and found 2 small glass bottles of cider I bought for cooking last year and thought I might have a glass tonight. And so I did again forgetting about the burning and my god is it bad tonight after about 1/3 of a small glass.

So tonight is my final night of drinking for another 3 months I look a mess and like someone has wiped bleach on my skin - I can't believe how I forgot about this happening and how uncomfortable it is

I thought as I opened the bottle - this feels a bit strange, now long is it since I did this, have a drink at home on my own, about 3mths

Lesson learnt, looks like the hen party I've been invited to will be a short AF one for me and driving

I've been crazy busy since my last visit, too busy to post here sadly. But I have had an AF weekend - I decided it was far too hot to drink, and potentially dangerous as I tend to get dehydrated quite easily at the best of times!
