Morning all :wave:

I guess I made a bit of an error a couple of months ago when booking DD2's birthday party, as it's this afternoon at 4pm :undecided. I'm not fussed as I'm not into football and it'll be a bonus that the place will be totally empty, just hope the guests turn up!! (Do they have TV screens in macdonalds?).

I drank the bar dry last night at an engagement party we went to at a v. posh private members bar, dangerously it was a free bar (must have cost them thousands :eek:). OH wanted me to drive us there otherwise we'd have to book an 8 seater cab as the kids were going too and it's £20 each way. I said I'd be happy to drive if he stays sober with me cos these dos with the outlaws are painful if you're sober as everybody gets very very drunk, he refused, said it wasn't possible so he booked a cab. I then turned into one of the outlaw clan and got very very drunk. I did stuff myself silly with the buffet food thankfully (totally amazing prawn vol-u-vents :drool:) but feel like utter crap today and have to now get all my washing for the week done at the launderette (still have no machine) before I am (hopefully) descended upon by 20 five year olds :eek: (single handedly might I add as OH and DD1 will be at the pub watching the footie *rolleyes* although my dear ole mum will be there to lend a hand :A)

Jo I really feel for you - 20 5 yr olds :eek: bet it will be lots of fun for your DD though, what a lovely Mum she has ...The cake looks fab and is making me really fancy cake nom nom..

Jo - what a completely fab cake! I would imagine your daughter is in love with it. Good luck with the 20 5 year olds...not my idea of fun!:eek: Heaven knows what I'dd do when Piglet starts wanting parties:rotfl: You have my sympathies tho on the clash of football/party....me and mum very stupidly have booked Nans 90th do for the same time as the World Cup Final!:eek:

Not up to much today...going to rest foot up as is throbbing...think I kept standing on it yesterday:o. Going to try and avoid the computer a bit as OH felt I was surgically attached to it yesterday:o
