  • Hi All,

Commiserations to all the footie fans :(.

Jo - that cake looked amazing. I hope the party in McDs went well.
Nice to have it to yourselves at least. I think I'd have done the same as you at the outlaw do.

Miss P - sorry to hear about your foot and hope it will soon be on the mend. Try not to do too much though. I slipped on a wet crazy golf course on the first morning of a 2 week caravan holiday with DSs quite a few years ago. Ended up in A&E and told I wouldn't be able to walk for 11 days! Turned out to be 4 in the end and DSs had to rally round despite being 7 and 8 at the time. I did manage to hop around the camp shop to get a bottle in! Well I would wouldn't I!

Hugs to others with their injuries and get well soon.

I had an afternoon gig outdoors today at a town do. Quite a few folk around despite the footie.

Hoping to do better at AFness this week.

Glad to see you back HB and Sparkles.

Hugs Budgie ((())). Good news about Mr B.

I loved the Famous 5. Couldn't get enough of them. A world away from me in a Glasgow tenement but I could just imagine myself in their adventures. Not so keen on the ginger beer though!

The Budgie adventure sounds intriguing :)

    Good evening everyone!:)

Budgie - that is fab news about Mr B moving home soon.:jYour mention of famous five books reminded me of ones I used to read...used to love the Nancy Drew mysteries and the Worst Witch books...may have to have a peek on ebay;)

Jo - its YOUR fault.....I made OH get me to the car so we could go to Maccy D's for tea!:D Glad party went well...that was a pricey pressie your daughter got from her friend!!!

Must admit to going a bit stir crazy today (hence OH being strong-armed into taking me to Maccy D's). Had the formula 1 on, which I like, but then the sodding football too. I was going a bit doolally tat to be honest. A VERY glad that Mum is coming for the day tomorrow!:T

Anyways...off to surf the net...got to try and get a present delivered in time for Nans 90th!!!!

    Miss P
