Thanks guys....yes it helped!:D I've calmed down now. (OH had text off his ex-wife asking him to give money towards his daughters hair and make-up for the prom! Thats despite our side already having paid for dress, horse and carriage, handbag and jewellery! She's bought the shoes.....from a car boot)
I'm calm....I'm calm.....:D
Anyways, back off to my glossing....HOW I got paint in my armpit I'll never know!!!

Miss P - last time I did glossing there was more on me than the shelves! I managed to even get it on my stomach - how?
TP1 - you're doing great. Don't despair at the blips you have. Just count the good days and they are so much more than the blips!
SSG - If you go to your night out and drive, you'll have a great time
and save lots of money and feel brilliant the next day.
Been having a bit of a traumatic week with DS2 over a proposed 300 mile trip. It is off now but I think my name is now a new swear word among a few teens here! It has been very stressful and I am supposed to be having a chilled out week off work but no sign of that chilling out happening yet. Perhaps in a few years I'll have one!

I am going out on Monday for a colleagues leaving do and i might just drive and remain AF.
Am not sure though.
It's a bit scary to think of it AF.
I just can't decide. It would save so much on taxis as well.
But i never have a night out so i would like to have a drink.
We are probably having a meal as well.
Will think about it over the weekend:D
Enjoy you day all!:)
So decide  - its not THAT scary.... once you have made your mind up, its really okIf you have the added incentive of driving, so much the better.
And think how much better you'll feel on Tuesday morning
you CAN go out and enjoy yourself without drinkingMiss_Piggy wrote: »Thanks guys....yes it helped!:D I've calmed down now. Hiya guys,
Hope you're all having a good day.
I'm feeling a bit 'wibbly wobbly', having not been out since last Friday evening :-/
I feel 'exposed' sober, very fragile. My confidence is virtually non - existent!
My friend, who I met in AA about 18 months ago, is coming over at 1pm, and I've suggested we go out for a walk and get some sunshine, and fresh air
Going to jump in shower, and have then got to quickly call nPower.. Joy!
Am looking forward to getting out with my mate
Today is my 11th day sober. Good feeling.
The only bit of grief, is my noisy neighbour, who insists on playing her music, on full blast every lunchtime, like a petulant teen..She's 36!
It's usually only for an hour, but there is really no need for the volume..
I tried knocking on her door, about a month or two back, to ask her to please turn it down.
I'd heard her come to the door, but she didn't answer. She's also, very unapproachable, so it's difficult to know what to do.
She's been here about 10 / 12 years, and is very 'territorial'.. she sits on the communal steps (to the block of flats) with her neighbour, and they're both smoking..I'm no snob, but it just looks awful!
Anyway, gotta get a wriggle on:)
Take it easy all,

Hello,
As the sun is shining and Sparkles has gone for a holiday I was thinking of running a 72 h challenge starting 13.00 today and finishing 13.00 Friday. Who is with me?"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
