Wow great news about your pay and holidays Miss P! My bells were louder today cos it was a nice sunny day which is a little concerning considering summer might show up soon!
Sim, great news about the money! You are doing really well, keep vigilant and make sure you only use that money for foodDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Thanks Jo x
My mate of 10 years, called just now.
He's the guy, I met last Wednesday, for a hellraising lads night out, and the guy who disappeared from the club..
We were both hammered. I had texted him that night, asking him if he was ok - he never replied - until 2 days later (coincidentally, the night he was off out again).
I feel rude not taking his calls.
However, we've only ever 'socialised' by getting smashed together. He generally only ever calls, to arrange a night out, and me him.
I was lying in the bath earlier, trying to piece together last week's 3 day bender, and I can only remember a few bars I went in, but no order or anything.
Think I might have bumped into my ex - Girlfriend / had a verbal run in with a bouncer / been turfed out of another pub too, but I'm not 100%. Scary.
That I don't miss.
I do miss my mate though. We have identical sense of humour, love the same music, the same women (well not in that sense, but you know what I mean!)
Have told him in the past that my drinking had got way out of control. Even as recently on Facebook (the dreaded Fb..how I don't miss such rubbish!) late last year, he would certainly have seen the AA pages, so he can't not know about it.
Even last Wednesday, I told him I still drank way too much, and he continued to buy me double vodka and tonics :-/
Really don't know how to handle this one, as I do love him to bits but...

Beautiful evening out. No garden, and he wants me to go to the pub.
This is going to be a difficult Summer :-/0 -
Don't miss the madness, but I do miss the 'mingling'!
Any of you know what I mean?

if he's a mate worth having then he will support you when you say you no longer drink alcohol. XDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0

What a day - managed to get my work done but no studying has been done
 By the way I wasn't quite that fast on Monday, Bupa got their times wrong and amended my time to 1.10.47, my half way time was wrong until today that got finally sorted. Now I am in a process to enter into another 10k to see if I can do better.
I have had tea with DD but am still starving - fish finger sandwich anyone?
2 for me please Miss P"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

I always think it seems harder to be AF in the summer as I can at the moment hear people in their back gardens laughing and enjoying themselves and I imagine they are drinking cocktails.
But in the winter I usually feel down and think it would be nice to snuggle up on the sofa with some mulled wine. (*Rolleyes*) I don't suppose it is the seasons that matter really just a habit.Good to hear you sounding upbeat 115K. I'm sure doing something about your problems has to make you feel better.
