I weighed myself today and despite eating up the left over biscuits I have lost 2kg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's great - you were doing loads of exercise every day not long ago so perhaps that's affected your metabolism??

    Aww thanks guys!

Well I need to see if I can maintain this for the next week too and not get seduced by the huge Mr T next to work. Keeping the motivation going is my key as it often wanes.

Now I am keeping on the AF front I need to see if I can apply this to the diet too!

If I can I will be well happy and all it takes is to continue on smaller portion size and eating more fruit, plan meals and sort out what I can snack on

At the moment I'm eating soup out of the depths of the freezer for lunches when this is gone I'll have a rethink about what to have. Must concentrate on eating this up as it's been in there since last year!

Here is a digested version (no pun intended :D)

Last two pages give actual advice, previous ones are the 'scientific' thinking behind it. Very American and not helped by photos of filled bagels and The Last Supper flashing up beside the article:rotfl:

Well done sparkles I dream of losing 2kg:T

I'd love to join in a cutting down portions challenge. I've had quite a bit of success with limiting the amount of meat we eat, no problems with loads of veg. Next challenge is cutting down on the carbs.

Planning a Merry May evening, back later.

I've a headache too this evening, think it might be the coffee I've started drinking in the mornings to wake me up now I'm sleeping properly :o

AF for me to this evening please Sparkles and 20 now for me please DB (thanks for doing the scoring as its the one thing that's keeping me motivated).

Good luck on the weight loss everyone. I've found not drinking all evening means that I actually get off my butt and do something, keeping me away from the biscuit tin. I even got out to the garden today and planted up some pots (OH will be amazed when he comes home).

If I could drink in moderation I would but I know deep down that once I open a bottle that's it - I will make excuses to drink every night again. I've no will power to do just a few days each week. I'm impressed with those that can :)
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

    Hello,

My laptop is driving me potty - BF has given me his PC but I have all the stuff on the laptop so haven't started using it. Any clever ideas how to transfer stuff over especially everything I have in my Outlook? Oh and Firefox did it's final crash on me and now I am using Explorer which in my laptop is soooooo slooooow.

Sorry for the laptop rant. DD is driving me potty as well but hey - she is 5 so I guess it is normal.

    Sparkles - challenge completed :)

    DB - 20 please :)

I will be hitting the last bit of Schloer in the moment thou.

I am also doing the PMK and have made a note of that book that Lurks mentioned to purchase when I do my next amazon order. Well done Sparkles!!!

    Anyway - must go...
