    .
    3) 'The World of Cross-stitching' Issue 119 - Penguin Party ABC - Quite cool, each letter has a penguin.

    5) 'The World of Cross-stitching' Issue 152 - Fairytale ABC - has a bit of everything, dragons, unicorns, castles, princesses & princes.

I'll add pictures in a second.

I'll also look through my Needlecraft Magic folders later on this week.

Like the idea of penguins or fairytale cos think they would have girl or boy appeal (and sshhh dont tell but there are no cats!)

I totally agree, I like the penguins but I love the fairytale one. That would make such a lovely child's blanket.

I officially revoke my vote for cartoon animals and vote for alphabet instead :rotfl:
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

  • Another vote here for the Fairytale ABC.

Just a note tho, are we adjusting the colours to suit our supplies or will we have to stitch all the letters in the exact same colour, as i noticed the letters are all the same colour in the picture.

Oh and in response to Spottybutterfly its entirely up to what everyone thinks is best...if people want to change the colours then I don't see any problem, we just need to make sure that we don't get lots the same colour and a couple of odd ones :)

The border looks the same colour in each pic too - we could be very MSE and buy threads for our square and then do the square a few times to use up the thread for another quilt or one person could get the threads (maybe able to ask for them to be donated by some kind shop?) and then send them out to the stitchers - don't mind helping co-ordinate something like that if that's the way we decide to go
