The great quilt idea......

alphabet - one designDid we send them to the quilter? as if she is no longer able to complete the quilt maybe she would send them to someone who can?
I am not sure who is doing what only I think it's been too quiet for too long & the task is nowhere near complete & we owe it to the designer to complete.
Hope we hear soon. Has anyone posted a letter to her address yet?
I hope you don't mean that in the tone it has come across and I am now :mad:
If you take the time to read back:
1) yes sent to the quilter......... if we get them back we will send them to someone else.
2) yes it has been too quiet that is why I am e-mailing her, facebooking her and in the process of writing a letter. If you look you will see I spent an evening of my time trying to track down all the info I could on her. I have asked people to also help in sending her a letter.
3) "the task is nowhere near complete" - well sorrryyyyyyyy tell me something I don't know.
I am so CROSS that you would make the assumption we have been resting on our laurals (so to speak).
Thanks for your support.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
alphabet - any designAww Chicky.
I didn't read that post in the tone you suggest, I read it with a tone of someone that wanted to find out what's been going on.
I'm sure they appreciate that you're trying to find out for us what's happened, as we all do.
Now's not the time to start fighting between us.0 -

I seriously think you need to calm down! Nothing I said was offensive in the slightest infact more concerning & hopeful of a resolution if anything.
I am aware of work is left to do but you really did read my message so wrong it wasn't at all fair to berate me in such a manner & post that responce at all.
IF the quilter is reading it sounded as if an olive branch was offered in that others will step into the breach if there is a problem, no questions asked, just send back the squares. It may be that she is in a serious predicament that none of us have considered & I only hope that is not the case.
Worst case ( re the final product ) is she has attempted to quilt up & spoilt them, all speculation. No one really knows so I just asked had we sent them to the 'actual' quilter as I know more than one person offered to do this job.
Saying we should make contact/send her a letter & doing so are 2 different things so I simply asked has an actual letter gone out. If we all start sending them that too could add to the situation so I asked if something had gone direct via RM.
It's all very well sending cyber messages but if her PC is broke, ISP down they are fruitless.
The designer & suppliers of the materials may wonder how far away we are so that was another of my concerns.
I appreciate your thanking me for my support although I assume you meant it sarcastically so there really was no need at all. Save the compliments for those that deserve it.
Other than your unnecessary outburst this quilt project had been fun for me. No one is blaming you or suggesting you're doing nothing to resolve the matter but I did take part & am more than entitled to ask where we are at with resolving the problem that has arisen.0 -
alphabet - any designI haven't sent a letter, as I thought someone else might have done, but I'm happy to post one out if I know it's not going to arrive with 10 others.0
