Just wondering what is the actual legal problem with the quilt??

I'm just confused since we have full permission from the designer, what else can be wrong with the copyright.

Emzy - do you have any more details from them?

I would just hate this to fall by the wayside, especially now SewandSo have donated materials :(

    Hi everyone!
Just caught up with the past 10 days of posts. Been visiting my family, then had a few days away with my mum near Great Yarmouth. Took my netbook, but was only able to get online briefly, so didn't have chance to read all the posts.
Hope the legal issue sorts itself out soon. Wonder what exactly is the problem?
I will probably send an SAE instead of Paypal. Should I wait until the legal issues are sorted out?

Think it is to do with the fact that it was published in a magazine who also say they have copyright on it - there must be a legal eagle way round it somehow. Sorry if my impetuousness has caused us all this hassle. I naively thought that the designer would have legal copyright over her own work. Hope Martin's boffins can sort something out for us all.

OOPsy :o sorry chickywiggle - yours is still sat on the kitchen worktop because I was going to ask what extra threads and stuff you would need to do 'extra' squares. Have posted most out so you can have loads of the leftover threads now that's sorted, hope you've not been shouting at the postie every morning!!!
