I hope Chicky is not offended as I too thought it was all a little confusing but as I wasn't fully onboard I didn't want to upset the apple cart by saying too much. Maybe Chicky could copy a full stitcher/letter list, links to chart etc as a 1st port of call.

I’m getting very excited about all this. I’ve managed to find some 14 count Aida so I’m ok for material but same as sweetcarer I need some advice about the threads. I’ll gladly chip in towards a group order, I just need to know which way we are going.

Any ideas of a timescale? Should I have set this as my May challenge on the Cross Stitch Cafe to make me get my butt in gear????

I tried cross stitch (I'll try anything once) and a simple picture of a boy with a dog took me 4 years. I kept giving up and going back.
I'll take as many pictures as you need me to and convert them. I think my sisters back from uni in June as well so she can probably knock a few up on her machine.
Any idea of colour scheme yet and what you want the blocks to look like?

Right im still not quite getting whats been happening and as I said ill have a proper read through later....but to keep things a little less confusing could Dorastar (I think it was you ) maybe ask a couple of companies nicely please to see if we can get the main letter colour cheaply? then thats all the same...and if people want to add sparkles then thats fine but maybe stay away from beads because of young children.

Its great that its ok to sell it and nice that she wants a picture of it.

And yes maybe contacting a company and asking about aida would be a good idea...I can email sewandso if you want? Or has someone now done that?

Time scale I was thinking end of June? that gives people time to do their own projects and also fit this in? What does everyone think to that?

Ive only just pm'd about the chart so I have no idea what size the stitched area is but with the inch border needed can anyone say is 5 x 5 not ok?
