Just 2 baskets? I have 2 full Ikea blue bags... Plus another that's full of stuff I washed yesterday that needs sorting and is probably 50% ironing...

Tesco is due this morning... Wish I'd put some cakes on the order or something...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Happy anniversary Aless!

Boo that Tutu is amazing. I used to try and make my own tutus but always failed. I might try again for Lily :)
    You have inspired me :D

Do you know the PixiFoto vouchers you get in the bounty pack? Has anyone used them?

I want to use mine but some online reviews of PixiFoto said they pressure you into buying other pics and they can cost upto £1,700!:eek:

Also, Lily had very dry skin on her arm. When i mentioned it to the HV she said to use moisteriser on it.

Now its gone bright red and hard, it looks like a massive burn.

I had intentions of buying aqueous cream but couldn't find any so got the junior oilatum stuff and it cant penetrate the skin to do its magic work because of the hardness.

    Any ideas what it is?

Currently dying my hair purple, the blonde went very patchy last night so im covering it quickly before i leave the house :o

    Quick cheeky photo...

MFD that is very rubbish, I am sorry. But if you want to test your iron here you're more than welcome.

I've just put mine and Molly's laundry away and left Husband's on the bed. I'd have folded his too but I found one of the good shirts I bought him scrunched up at the foot of the mattress and don't feel like spending my busy busy day cleaning up after him when he clearly doesn't appreciate it. It's an act of war ... we'll see if he notices.

would you like to try it out on my 2 baskets full of ironing??? :D

LOL - I am not THAT keen!

Mine was reasonably up to date because MIL came over and did it all whilst we were at CP, and then she did more of it when she babysat on Thursday night...I just need to keep on top of it now...and do the stuff that I have had hidden upstairs away from MIL for months :D

Anybody else find that when all your ironing is done you have nowhere to put it? :o

Lovely pic EA :) Been having a nosey on FB too, looks like you had a fab day, you all look fabulous and so happy.

(((hugs))) for Alice. Like others have said sorry she has whooping cough but long term that is better than asthma

    Happy Anniversary Aless

Alfie is just sat smiling in his bumbo. He likes being sat up just now. At what age do they start to sit unaided? I know they're all differrent but a a ball park?

I went to bed far too late last night, 1am  and am feeling it today. Alfie doesn't help though, seems to only wake twice in the night when I've had a late one  Early night for me tonight, think I'll go to bed when Alfie does!!

Sorry work isn't going so well MFD.

I don;t iron anything apart from shirts! Lazy, moi?! Noooooo!

Yes, when all my clothes are clean I can barely close my drawers and the hanging rail in the wardrobe really sags! DH says I have too many clothes but we all know my wardrobe and drawers are too small ;)

Jenny, this and cut it into strips http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Flo-Lilac-Fancy-Dress-Tutu-Net-Tulle-Fabric-Material-/370363625436?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Crafts_Fabric_Textiles_SM&hash=item563b646fdc or longer rolls.

I am a lax mum but have alwasy chosen not to give honey till 1year old.

EA, it 'could' be eczema, so I would take her to the GP especially if it hard. Just in case.

Congratulations EA :) you seem to have had a great time!

And hurrah for 2 years in, Aless :p hope you have a nice day despite any card failures (which really are not very important :)) and hope you heroically went to toddler group!

MFD :( must be very depressing, do you expect to get a 'firm answer' about the future any time soon, or will things keep dragging on/trickling downhill? Are you doing anything active yet about pursuing alternatives, or still crossing fingers?

I agree, the risk of honey is real but utterly minimal. Going out and crossing the road is probably a bigger risk, let alone leaving baby in the same house as a bookshelf or whatever... still though, SS's comment
I know a woman from Sri Lanka with about eleven kids and she said that she rubbed honey on all their gums when they were teething to make them feel a bit better.
did make me think of "oh, we don't need protection, dozens of times and still no baby coming" type stuff :p

On the other hand, honey is awesome :)
(we didn't give honey til 1, because - you don't need to so shrug)

We visited my parents at the weekend to tell them about the new pregnancy. It was my mum's birthday last week, so we gave her a card with a photo from the ultrasound in it. She looked at it and said "ohh, thanks, nice to have a hard copy finally" - she thought it was a print of Elijah's 12 week scan! :rotfl: how we laughed :)

ETA: Susan, very sorry Alice is sick :( but I hope there's no chance of any long-term problem from whooping cough, so that must be a plus? Is the sleep very bad at the moment, is there nothing doctors have recommended as a palliative for the duration?
  • Oh - forgot to say lovely pic EA! I too have been nosying on FB - looks like a lovely day (and brilliant weather!)

SJ - ball-park they will sit at about 6 months but could be earlier or later...so anytime really!
