:rotfl::rotfl: that image made me laugh out loud!

Sorry muso but although I'm pretty well endowed (32G post pregnancy) I didn't have any particular problems with positioning, so can't add much. I would second those who've recommended bf support drop ins though. These were helpful for us in the early days with Edward

Half term here and wet and horrid weather to boot. Need to come up with ideas to keep a very bright 10 year old, a nine year old with severe learning difficulties and the attention span of a gnat and a very inquisitive eight month old occupied for another 3 days . Any suggestions gratefully received. We made muffins today and a lot of computer and tv time was allowed, cos I is a bad mummy and hadn't foreward planned!

boo - result on the wrap from BB, had an email from them asking if I was bfing so hopefully will get something good soon.

muso - welcome and congrats :) it does get easier hun. I remember thinking I'd never have a life again when it came to bf, I had the same issue too and was barely coping, 11 weeks later and we still have the odd off day but things have improved loads and we get out all the time. Deffinatley agree with feeding lying down and support pillow and Aless makes some good points x

natalie - yeay for standing baby :D

thud gaurd!!!!!!! how ever did we all make it thru childhood without one?

sm - job vibes for OH.

Sami - that urinal potty is cute (that statement is wrong lol).

tara - I like the 1st ones with bowes :) but love sparklie ballet stylie pumps and the shoe dd2 got are lush

EA - yeay for group what stuff did they cover? was looking at sophies to and amazon was the cheapest I could see.

Welcome to lou and LLL too x

Been to pizza hut earlier so dont need to cook :D T is currently asleep on my shoulder so gonna attempt to put her to bed in a mo and have some me time!

Has anyone used anything like this, are they usually genuine?

The kids break up for summer holidays 3/4wks after the baby is due, so I just want to do a couple of days out throughout the summer holidays....

    Hi lou :)

Nicki not too sure what you could do to entertain all three kiddies, how about geocaching if the weather picks up? The treasure hunt/secret element might appeal to the older two?

Reading my post back from before make's it sound like I think dummies are chavvy :o So sorry if that's how it's come across to anyone and I assure you I don't think that. I've thrown away more than I could count as I buy them in the vain hope Isla will take it and she has two sucks then refuses, sometimes (when she's treating me as a dummy at 4am :() I wish and pray she'd have one! Apologies again if it came across wrong, I was meaning like the weird one's we were linking to on ebay a while ago.

I've started being sick again too, so much for feeling better :o

LOL - I am glad I am not the only one who thinks the thudguards are hilarious!! I remember them being on The Apprentice and they were slated as a ridiculous invention then. If you look at the reviews they are remarkably absent of parental contribution.

(:o sorry Sami - I honestly can't believe that you would consider one! Not meant to offend xx)
Getting a comfortable position for both of us had prob been the hardest bit for us and was part of the reason we were kept in hospital a while. I'm rather well endowed and find most of the regular holds don't work for us. The only way we've been able to feed has been using the rugby ball hold and even then I'm having to go to the sofa to do it. The midwife suggested i try lying down but I'm terrified I'm going to roll on her!

Is your MW still visiting? Ask her to take you upstairs and show you how it is done. My MW practically frogmarched me upstairs to make me try and it was the best thing anyone could have done.

I also recommend your local Booby Club (aka BF Support Group) for help and advice - I even did a demo of feeding laying down for a girl who was worried about it at one of mine (poor Benjamin thought it was nap time and was closing his eyes bless him!)
