Black glitter pumps that you can pick up almost anywhere and if you needed something, you could always glue gun it on? Or even superglue gently.

Tara I think the pink socks look perfect!
I love her face, Liv has an almost identical one.
I think that crash helmet thing is a little bit nuts! I'm sure we all had a lot of bumped heads as babies and we all grew up sane!I agree. Special schools do have their place but shouldn't be the default response to anyone with any kind of disability. I also think it would be better to have special schools as units attached to a mainstream school rather than being completely separate.
I agree too.
J would not manage in mainstream at all, and it also wouldn't be fair on the other children in the school.
His primary was perfect. It was next to a 'normal' primary and they did loads of things together.
In a couple of years time (if the new government doesn't put a stop to it) our two main 'big' special schools will merge in a brand new purpose built school, attached to one of our best secondary schools. I think that will be perfect for the special school, but also for the children in the 'normal' school. (even though J will only have a couple of years of school left by then!)
Talking of J, I have had the most horrendous day. I may be back later to swear.
V's jabs went ok. She wasn't very happy about being stabbed in both legs, but she got over it very quickly.:beer:0 -

BF is a challenge, it is hard work at the beginning but it is worth it!! After a while you will be doing it without thinking about it!
Have you tried laying down to feed? It is the way forward for nighttime feeds because you get to rest at the same time.
Getting a comfortable position for both of us had prob been the hardest bit for us and was part of the reason we were kept in hospital a while. I'm rather well endowed and find most of the regular holds don't work for us. The only way we've been able to feed has been using the rugby ball hold and even then I'm having to go to the sofa to do it. The midwife suggested i try lying down but I'm terrified I'm going to roll on her!0
