    Thanks guys!

I'm breastfeeding at the moment and finding it quite a challenge. We're going to have to move to expressing in the near future as I'm due to do a couple of days work in July. When's too soon to start expressing for DH to feed her? It would be nice if we could split the night time feeds between us .

You can start as soon as you like. Try after a feed first. And don't expect to get much, 1-2oz is normal! It may also reduce after the first few weeks too as the way your breasts produce milk changes.

Just because you express doesn't mean you have to use it, you can store it in the freezer for later.

Nat sounds like it's eyes in the back of your head time :rotfl:

Bizziebaby have just offered this on fb :) The name just makes me giggle.

Muso, as MFD says learning to feed lying down really can be a turning point with BF'ing in terms of managing to get some rest in and feed :)

  • Afternoon Mums! Hope you dont mind me joining in your thread :)
Been a nightmare this morning trying to amuse DS. Rain on half term is so typical. Ive been cleaning and conditioning the leather sofas this morning as well as the usual housework yet feel absolutely shattered already lol. This is meant to be my week off work too, yet havent had a break yet lol.
DS has been picked up for the afternoon by his dad. Would LOVE an afternoon on the sofa watching Jeremy Kyle and maybe a lil nap, but OH is coming home at 4 and we're off down the gym euughh. lol. Wish me luck! :)

getcha Tara :) I feel the same and was going to mention how the school Tia is sending big Chris sounds like a great idea but she arrived :D

I've just had Wot Not in a Pot Noodles (supernoodles made by pot noodle peeps) they are crap! I hope that sweet n sour in a pot noodle comes back! :p
boys have both nicked some tho and Ed is currently nicking Chris's juice, I have 2 tea leafs on my hands!

Ps forgot to say earlier Beenie we don't have gravy often but I use the reduced salt bisto, I can't be faffed with baby specific stuff anymore! I use Kallo organic 'very low salt' stock cubes for all my cooking, they are pretty much exactly the same as boots baby stock cubes if you look at the ingredients, rather pricey compared to oxo but I think they're much tastier and oxo are too salty for my tastes.
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.
