Also on the name thing, if you receive a cheque in your maiden name you cannot pay it into a bank account which is in your married name. This is because the bank is legally only allowed to pay it into an account in the name written on the cheque even if the account used to be in the old name and they have a record of it. I deliberately kept one account in my old name for a few months just in case (and then still got a cheque in my old name after I'd changed it so I had to get the cheque redone).

Quiet this afternoon. Went to giant Mothercare and the only 0/1+ car seat the do in-store didn't fit. So we're going to try and order the only other one they stock (website exclusive) and she said when it arrives, we can take to a Mothercare where they'll still fit it free and if it doesn't fit, we can return there. If that doesn't fit, then we're just going to have to buy an infant one (bit wasted money, but oh well).

We do! We saw the paediatrician on Saturday, and he says baby is almost certainly not going to need surgery at all, as he is doing so well on his lacto-free diet and is nearly up to the 50th centile on his weight gain :j.

And its lovely weather here so we are enjoying that while we can. Speaking of which, has anyone seen this story in the DM

Alice's carpet is being delivered and fitted tomorrow. This is good news because it will mean we can build her wardrobe and put all the stuff in her room which should be there but is currently cluttering up our room which will make me very happy.

EA, I'm offering water (juice) after milk and Amber is going to bed in a sleepsuit with no vest due to the heat. The light makes them wake up earlier too. I can't get the princess down till 9pm, then she is up at 7am. She wakes a few times during the night now too.

Caz, great news about the house and money, how is OH?

Nicki, awesome news that he won't need an op! And gaining centiles must be great news for you all too :D

    Lovely news Nicki. :T

MFD Why are you weepy? Are you hormonal? I was on Sunday, I hated everyone, but i'm ok now. :p

I've got no good news unfortunatly, except that in about half an hours time, i'll be blonder without the classy inch of dark roots. Hairdresser has put the foils in, and !!!!!!ed off to Asda for half an hour. I hope she's not delayed!
