She does. She walks with push alongs, chairs, around the furniture with one hand, around the house holding onto one finger and is very proud of herself when she stands in the middle of the room and wiggles her bum and claps - but she just won't walk on her own! :(

Have you tried her holding a pencil or something similar? You hold one end, she holds the other, you let go...
....or you could just leave the poor mite to it (but I would have a go if it were me!) :o

Not at all, it was very light. I had to keep turning round to check she was still there. L found it very humiliating though, and we had to follow her route where she was unlikely to see anyone she knew. :o

    Interesting!! And :rotfl:at L!!

Does anyone know what the weather is going to be like in the lake district this weekend?

Edit - perhaps not a pencil, perhaps something a little softer and more baby friendly than a pencil...was just thinking of something finger shaped lol! Do you have any baby-safe-rubber-fingers laying around???

I always hate the last week of the month - no food in the fridge! :p All your steak talk is having me drooling. DH likes his as rare as possible...I like a good medium rare. I waitressed in a steak restaurant for 2 years and you wouldn't believe the number of people that basically ruin theirs by getting it cooked well done and then smothering it in sauce. It's like, why pay $20 for a high quality steak if all you can taste is the sauce? Baffles me.

Well done Alex! After rolling several times, Finn now hasn't done it in a week. Weird how babies work that way.
