I hate the way that they call me to sell me something (that I inevitably don't want) and then ask me to confirm my details!! You phoned me you numpty!!!

I always refuse to give them my details and then complain. It was only because this one told me what he wanted (and he was from Chesterfield) that I didn't tell him to b00ger off!! :rotfl:
When I get phoned, I just say, "I'm not willing to discuss anything on the phone unless you are able to prove that you really are my bank (or whoever else it is they say they are)." Nobody has ever tried to prove they are genuine.

I like getting phone calls asking if I am the homeowner, I say 'I will just get her for you' and then give the phone to the youngest child present :rotfl:

    Hi all,

Just thought i'd pop in whilst little madam has a nap. Sorry i'm not around much anymore, I just dont have the time with juggling work and Leila. I think of you all often and try to keep an eye on you when I can on here and on facebook.

So dont think I have disappeared off the face of the earth, i'm quite often lurking but if I start to post i'm usually interrupted by Leila getting up to mischief. She spent the morning sitting under the front door waiting for the postman to come and drop the post on her head. She's a very active child and if I could bottle her energy i'd be a millionaire!

Lots of love to everyone and when things are not quite so hectic (probably when she's about 18), i'm sure i'll be around more xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Now everyones clapping and I'm despairing, she's currently standing at the bedside table and has just pulled the bookmark out of my book. And the magazines are everywhere along with the alarm clock from the top. Not so cool when it happens to you! :rotfl:
Too many children, too little time!!!

    Interesting!! And :rotfl:at L!!

Does anyone know what the weather is going to be like in the lake district this weekend?

Edit - perhaps not a pencil, perhaps something a little softer and more baby friendly than a pencil...was just thinking of something finger shaped lol! Do you have any baby-safe-rubber-fingers laying around???
    a wooden spoon?

:rotfl: I usually say, "Why, what do you want?" or, "Why, who are you?" Funnily enough they never seem to be very forthcoming. Although it tends to be door to door callers who can't read who ask me that.

LOL - I did end up in an argument with one guy because he said I should call a number (his direct line) and when he answered as the name of my bank then I would know he was genuine :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I am the same with the mobile company when they ring me to offer an upgrade and then ask me what price plan I am on!!

Yay Maddy! Now the fun starts!
