Hugs Tigs, I'm glad you caught it early. Andrew seems to have a serendipitious sort of combination of good luck counteracting his bad luck, all the stuff that could really hurt him seems to be caught in good time. It must be very worrying for you though.

    Enjoy your holiday Becles!

Does anyone have a door bouncer made by a company called Scallywags? Ours is from them and has two rubber straps connecting the harness to the ceiling fastening. One of the straps just broke, so if you have one of those keep an eye on it.

    Afternoon all..

:grouphug: for Tigs and Andrew. So glad you're home and seeing improvements - and smiles! xxx

Have a fab holiday, Becles! :) xx

We have a grouchy one here today! OH thought it was him as Rhys is never this grumpy for me, but I think it's teeth. He's lathered in Bonjela now ;) After breakfast with Daddy he looked like a grubby street urchin so he's had a dunk in the bath too

Spurred on by pics of my friend's lovely nursery all prep'ed for a baby who's still not even due for another three months, I've been blitzing Rhys' room. One day, we'll actually have it how it was intended to be! Still hoping to go out later but we're apparently due a thundery shower around 3pm and it's started to cloud over already :(

Hope everyone is having a nice day xx

    Becles, have a GREAT holiday!

    Poor Benjamin xx

I'm being all crafty and made holey school trousers into shorts and a pair of frayed trousers into cut offs for me. :D

They look a bit special :D I keep looking out for some more for C. Now OH and I have got into the habit of using washables, I'd like to get some more (just cos they look nice ). Keep looking on used nappies.com and checking different website's for good offers.

Krystal, those nappies look lush. I'm wishing my wraps were more colorful for when summer comes but I'm too attached to my Motherease Airflow to try anything else.
They are lovely, I'm totally in love with them... What actually sold it to me was the woman that designed them was there and she was telling me how she designed them for her daughter because she was petite and other nappies swamped her, which is pretty much how Caitlyn is in all her daintiness... Plus hubby admitted after that he absolutely hates using the nippas :rotfl: At least he's not averse to me purchasing many different types of nappy ;)

Thanks for coming to talk to us Tigs, really glad they've caught everything early!! :)

How's Benjamin now Mfd? You saying you heard a wierd gushing sound reminded me of the time I was sitting right next to Aimee when she had a mini-sick... Funniest woosh of water sound ever!!

    :bdaycake:For Caz _party_ and :bdaycake:For SM!_party_

    Happy birthday guys :D

I'm just having a lay down on the sofa... Dave's taken Aimee to Morribobs for picnic items sundries and the baby is sleeping... I'm making the most of the peace!

By which point he will want to pain it black/cover it with pictures of ladies ;)

We have a grouch one here, but it is DH not Izzy, so he doesn't have teething as an excuse!

And I have lost control of my lunch - Izzy has stollen my fork and is eating it all - just feeding me the bits she doesn't like... except she has now been brave enough to try some of the things she normally turns her nose up - I'm going to be hungry ;)

Tigs that sounds scary - I can't imagine how it must feel to have to watch you own little one going through something like that - bad enough watching them with a tummy bug or something :( as everyone has said, at least you/they caught it early :)

We've not made it to the pool yet - were at the allotment for too long, was thinking we might go after nap time, but some seems to think naps are not required today - pool reopens about 2:30, so will take her then and take a book, so I can sit in the car while she sleeps if needs be (will park under a tree of course!)

I know there are far more important things going on (MFD, how's Benjamin after his epic sick?) but I just weighed myself and I am now 48.5kg, only 1.5kg above pre-pregnancy weight :j

19000 situps does wonders, although I still have a jiggly belly above my Abs of Steel :D

Glad you caught it early on tigs and as you say you will know what to look for in the future. Any link to him being prem or just one of those things? (if that is too detailed / insensitive a question ignore me)

Kinda, in a very roundabout way! He was small and preemie because of placenta problems, but his delivery was precipitated by lack of movement on that particular day. They thought he was sluggish because of the placenta, but u/sound scans subsequently showed an intra-uterine cranial bleed (ie in the brain just before birth). We were told that this bleed could cause any nature of development or health issue, hence he's being monitored monthly by the Paed Consultants; so they are presuming that the bleed is the cause of the IS.

We are continuing to trust to luck! If I hadn't volunteered for research when pregnant, they'd never have found the problem with my placenta and we could have lost Andrew. We've already been involved in other research groups, and Andrew is now participating in a trial regarding medication and treatment for this Syndrome :) I have to say, the Central Manc hospitals haven't let us down yet.

ATTN: people near London - if anyone has the urge to go sphereing at 11am on the 31st May (BH Monday) or wants to let their partner do it please shout up. Husband isn't able to do it, we can't change day/time for a time when he can, and if we can't change the participant then the thing goes to waste.

    It's near Gatwick airport.

Edit: too slow, sun lovers! Someone nipped in while you were all out basking like big lizards :p
