Been lurking on and off most of the afternoon, but we've pretty much spent all day in the garden. Fired up the barbeque for the first time this year. It was proper hot in the sun, lurrrrrvely. Tried Finn out in his new 99p paddling pool which he hated at first but then figured out it wasn't so bad. Not sure what his deal is with water at the moment!

Apparently, neighbour is !!!!ed off because her mate always forgets his kit on a Friday night and has to buy smack instead.

Lovely Tia *rolleyes at your neighbour*

My mother has !!!!!! me off, she sent a text out of nowhere asking if, when they come over, she can take Molly for an unaccompanied walk in the pushchair. I made a jokey reply and then asked if she'd filled in the grandparents book I gave them. Reply: Why? Can she read?

I considered sending an angry reply but then realised that she doesn't actually realise it's not funny (she's been told that the one Husband's parents filled in is only half done because they thought they had loads of time but died before it was finished but she's probably forgotten because it's information not about her) and sent a reply just explaining that. Then she responded, "Fair enough, will fill it in. So can I have that walk? I need it."

Why exactly does she "need" to be unaccompanied with my child who doesn't know who the fluck she is? And how did the walk become a sort of payment for filling in the damned book?

Som - recommend bionicles from the entertainer.

I am in the bath, hubby putting Benjamin to bed and I hear tears :(

SS I would be non-committal and say 'we'll see if she wants to'
