A good day all round for you then SS

Kinda, in a very roundabout way! He was small and preemie because of placenta problems, but his delivery was precipitated by lack of movement on that particular day. They thought he was sluggish because of the placenta, but u/sound scans subsequently showed an intra-uterine cranial bleed (ie in the brain just before birth). We were told that this bleed could cause any nature of development or health issue, hence he's being monitored monthly by the Paed Consultants; so they are presuming that the bleed is the cause of the IS.Hugs Tigs, I'm glad you caught it early. Andrew seems to have a serendipitious sort of combination of good luck counteracting his bad luck, all the stuff that could really hurt him seems to be caught in good time. It must be very worrying for you though.
We are continuing to trust to luck! If I hadn't volunteered for research when pregnant, they'd never have found the problem with my placenta and we could have lost Andrew. We've already been involved in other research groups, and Andrew is now participating in a trial regarding medication and treatment for this Syndrome
I have to say, the Central Manc hospitals haven't let us down yet. :heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

ATTN: people near London - if anyone has the urge to go sphereing at 11am on the 31st May (BH Monday) or wants to let their partner do it please shout up. Husband isn't able to do it, we can't change day/time for a time when he can, and if we can't change the participant then the thing goes to waste.
It's near Gatwick airport.
Edit: too slow, sun lovers! Someone nipped in while you were all out basking like big lizards

Went to carboot - 9am til 11am. Got J a push along walker for £1, some shoes for work for £1 and some nail varnish for 50p and a in car phone charger for £3 :money:
Have been out in the sun since and think I've burnt my feet!
Feeling much better today thanks to everyone that asked
I mowed the front lawn when we got back from car boot and did a load of weeding.
Just off to straighten out the kitchen and living room and get everything ready for tomorrow *sob*A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

SOoooooooooooooooooooo tempting to watch next weeks (and all the weeks after) vampire diaries
Do it! I've seen all of the vampire diaries because of surf the channel
I hate watching things weekly. Doctor Who is driving me crazy because the next one is a whole 7 days away
kindofagilr wrote: »I too would love him to make me a vamp
Do you watch true blood and vampire diaries as well?
True blood. We started watching true blood but it got a bit racy (not that it bothers me!) but that blonde birds voice does my head in
never seen vampire diaries.
I would love to be a vamp if I got to spend the rest of my days looking at him *sighs*
I never realised this, but she's Rouge in Xmen! I recognised the same horrid voice! :rotfl:
We didn't go to IOW yesterday. We got to the beach to get the overcraft and suddenly it came over all foggy, OH described it as similar to the film 'the mist'
It was horrible, the IOW ferry was honking its loud horn thing, and we couldn't see the big memorial statue that was about 20 metres away from us.
We went into The Blue Reef Aquariam instead and it was good, Lily loved the big fishes but hated the otters. We saw some fish egg things and you could see the fish babies moving about inside, it was crazy!
Happy Birthday SM and Caz! :j
And ((hugs)) for tigs and Andrew0 -

Great bargains Glam *jealous*
I'm now busily putting together a plan for the BH Monday since we're not doing the planned activity. I think I've come up with something ingenious, but I can't tell you because I don't know if he stalks me here or not :rotfl:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
