Aless, have just been looking at SJ's photos on facebook. If I could have some of those cakes on there, I would no longer be a size 8.

Wanting cake at 10pm is not good. And knowing I have none is also not good. Have no chocolate either. I let Joe have the last of my secret stash of flakes. I must love him. Wonder if there are any cadburys fingers left..............

    What a horrible day.

It was GIL's funeral today, and about ten mins before we got there E started crying in the car, he was totally screaming (he was tired, had been awake since 6am but refused to sleep *rolls eyes*) so I had to stay outside in the car with him trying to get him to sleep, he did eventually get to sleep 5 mins later, but I didnt want to risk taking him in and getting woke again cos he would have just started crying/screaming again, I was so upset that I couldn't go into the funeral, I dont know why we didnt think on and get a babysitter, well I wanted him there, I just hoped he would be asleep or at least content and not screaming.

So then it was back to In laws for food etc, we were there a few hours and everyone had gone, so there was just me, E, OH, MIL, FIL and BIL

MIL tends not to know when to shut up with her opinion, even if she has said it to you a million times, she still wont shut up, well she was going on at OH saying "dont do this" and "dont to that" at your interview on mon like he's a kid, and then she started banging on about his glasses, sometimes they slip down his nose so when he looks at you he is looking over them rather than through them, for some reason that irritates her, so she was going on at him saying dont let your glasses do that on mon or in fact dont wear then you look like a geek when you look over them

OH totally flipped, he has been really upset by emily dying, and for !!!!s sake today was not the day to be talking about OH's !!!!!!! glasses, so that then led to FIL arguing back with OH and they had a massive row, and MIL was still !!!!ing saying over and over again about the bloody glasses, so OH ended up flinging his glasses on the floor and storming out and driving away.

I was like erm !!!! lol, so I was like right I am away home, and I got E in his car seat and changing bag and walked home (10 mins away) I got home and OH was here, he was like "I was coming back for you" and I was like "how was I supposed to know that? you stormed off and left me with no keys or phone (I had to borrow MIL's key for our house"

    Jeez what a day

I know it prob seems like OH over-reacted by storming out, but trust me when MIL starts on something she doesnt stop, and today was not the day to be starting, OH has been quite stressed with work, with E's colic, Emily dying and his job interview, so I am not suprised he flipped a bit today.

OH did then go back round and they all apologised, and FIL rang me to apologise too, so all is well now, but bloody hell what a day.

Yes, shoes, that's what I was going to say earlier. 2 weeks ago I sold a pair of Irregular Choice shoes for £54! I was more than happy with that.

WM Good job you are not at my house just now then, I just made an extra Baileys cheesecake by mistake lol! My mum wanted me to make one for her to take to her friend's tomorrow night so I figured they only needed a small one so I made 2 small ones and am keeping one! Will not be good for my baby belly though :o

Anyway, off to bed now as still have the vegan cucpakes to make in the mornign and I need to be on the ball paying attention as they are tricky and I'm trying a new recipe.

    Night all x

I keep meaning to ask what is so special about this bra? Should we all be buying one?

Nothing MFD, just when I was treating myself to new underwear to go back to work I saw it and liked it....bought 36D and matching nics but it was a bit too small so took it back thinking I could get next size up...they didnt have it so went to 2 other Asdas and they didnt either :( so now have 2 pairs of nics and no bra to match:mad:...trying to get bra before having to give up and get refund for them too..
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

    Hi ladies,

I haven't had chance to read back sorry. Wee James (I'm calling him this now as someone on here said it and it's stuck in my head since when I think of him) has had a rough day, his scans have shown a bleed on the brain and he was baptised earlier today. The hospital are doing everything they can for him, their fantastic. Hopefully the bleed won't spread to the opposite side, at the moment it's the side to do with movement/co-ordination I think?

Good things are he recognises his mummies voice and twitches when she speaks to him, I'm going to visit tomorrow and deliver all your good, strong, healthy vibes in person so thank you again to all.

I hope everyones well and littlies are behaving x x

Is Mr SS home and did buttcam go ok?

Koag that sounds like a pants day, sorry to hear about the in-laws squabbling. Sometimes I think emotions run so deep at funerals that things are sometimes said which are completely irrelevant (such as focusing on OH's glasses) rather than dealing with the actual emotions of the day if that make's sense?

I know of several funerals where things have been said, fights have broke out etc from people you would never normally expect it from and it's heartbreaking because you want the day to be remembering the person who's passed on.

    Sorry, just rambling :o

Isla's been looking at me funny all day as I keep just scooping her up for the biggest squeeze's possible, normally within seconds of putting her down!

SJ that cheesecake sounds lush! I don't suppose it's a weight watcher's recipe is it?! I've seriously fallen off the wagon this week after telling Aless how easy it is to stick to. Fresh head and fresh start tomorrow I think.
