Eek, work problems not good! Everything going to work out OK?? When you due back?
Picnic sounds good! K was out on the deck having his lunch today and was most impressed
They seem to have cooled off alot and gone very formal on me, which is never good. Also I've just had an email to say I won't be paid for KIT days, after I've done one and had been told I would . But hey, ho. How's work for you?Me: Hey honey I've joined Weight Watchers.
DH: *comes home with ice cream and cider*
:mad::mad:
Grrr, they're all the same!
I think my son has decided he wants to be a BLW'r. He must have read about it on here :rotfl:. Today we only liked finger foods (and Fromage Frais as clearly that is too yummy to turn down, even if it has to be fed to you).
Mel- sorry to hear that mealtimes are stressful. It sounds like it is linked to the dyspraxia, from what folks on here have said but it must be very frustrating to have to deal with that as well as your OH's mealtime issues.
Maz- I looked in Asda for your bra today but they only had it in F cups!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Argh, now I've ended up perusing eBay for summery clothes... My baby could do with some more outfits... She's just started to go into 9-12s but there's plenty of growing room yet lol...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I have looked into it a fair bit, I am unsure whether to push for formal statement of his condition or not? His Dyslexia is mainly affecting his writing now, he has caught up fantastically on his reading and barely makes any mistakes when reading, but his writing/spelling/letter formation is terrible.
What will be the outcome of the ed psych, if they agree that dd has dyspraxia? Was it you or the school that pushed for her to be seen by one? Sorry if too personal, I am just pondering on the options myself....
The outcome will basically be that she gets a bit more slack cut when she genuienly needs it.
Shes just about to go onto her 3rd at high school timetable and still doesn't know her 2nd yr one without looking and constantly ends up in the wrong classes etc!
TBH, I've always known she wasn't right and have been dismissed the whole way through primary school and the !!!!!! really begun to hit the fan at high school. She cannot keep up (mentally) with the fast pace, changing classes constantly etc.
She now has an alpha smart keyboard thingy to do her work on and does 5 periods a week at pupil support where she doesn't have to rush around and can just quiently get on with her work. She also has a special registration class as has no concept of time even tho she leaves home in plenty of time she is always late!
She was also recently diagnosed with Irlens syndrome dyslexia thing and is currently undergoing a battery of tests.
The thing with pushing for a statement is that it should free up some extra resources for her and should enable her to go to pupil support more often and also get her a scribe for exams.
She has trouble processing and following written or spoken instruction and frequently needs to be told the same thing 20 times and the regular class teacher just can't provide that every time.
It was me that pushed although I had quite a bit of support from the Head of Pupil Support who actually knows nothing about Dyspraxia (!) but could see something wasn't right.
DD'd head of house person was after her big time and tried to get her excluded twice so we don't deal with her now.0 -
SS I am glad you are smaller than me as otherwise I would be bidding on your dresses! Seemingly 5 new dresses in the last 2 weeks is not enough for me!!
GISI I thought they had to pay you for KIT days? I would be trying to get them to at least pay you for the one you have done if that was agreed beforehand, and I certainly would not do any more if they were unpaid!!0 -
Its so hot! Nursery is 29 degrees  He's in a vest with a thin sheet over him and the fan on full. Only just gone down took bloody ages.
He was fab at creche today apparently! Ate all his food, had 2 naps and didn't even want to come to me when I went to pick him up - mixture ofand :j
GISI - I would definitely try and get paid for the one you've done if they said they would. Barstewards.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

Work is totally crap lol theres no other word for it that I can type on here!!
I used to thrive on the pressure and the stress and the deadlines and stuff and now I actually don't give a !!!!!! and it'll start to show soon.
I really don't have the headroom for all the petty crap that goes on! That new area Manger is an eejit too lol
I'm defo in the market for a new job. This year if I don't get a BFP I'll need to get something else. If I do then I won't be back after next Mat leave.
Money isn't even coming into it, I've already taken a 10k pay cut going PT and I figure if we can live off SMP then we can live with me being on a much lower salary.
I'm not prepared to have me stressed out when I get in and family suffering which I can see happening!
I also have stuff going on with DD that is quite mentally draining too and my job just can't be done properly when you're heart isn't in it
Wow 2 big ranty moany posts from me tonight!!0 -
They're saying I misunderstood, but frankly I'm not an idiot and I didn't!
Basically I was told (by payroll) that I would be paid my standard rate (around £100) for each KIT day worked and would lose a day's SMP (£25) so it is worth my while doing them. They are now saying that they pay me my standard day rate, but I forfeit that amount in SMP so my take home is the same. Not sure what would happen if I did two in a week.......if I do them during my unpaid period of ML then I get paid, of course.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Hugs csh, that sounds rubbish.
I am gutted as I love my job, but I am starting to get the feeling they don't really want me back.

I'm not wanted back PT either. I feel like I have a big target on my back at the mo.
Big boss still wants to talk to me about going back to FT in August even although I am refusing!0
