Back from my walk - got a third of the way round when the heavens opened - hailstones and everything. Absolutely drenched. Dilemma of course was which direction to go, so ended up turning back. 1 hour of walking and running when raining is not bad.

Tia/Caz - Bizziebaby has family tickets for M&Ds in case you hadn't seen it. Was on Facebook. Just in case you fancy it. It's 2 mins from me but can't really claim a family ticket!

    Aless - I think that's a pretty good price for a Learn & Groove!

We had big huge fat raindrops today too! The dog was rattling on the back door to get in and he usually stays out in the rain so it was bad, sunny now though!

Aless- Our L & G was £30 and they are usually £30-£45 on Netmums.

I am about to make bread, wish me luck. DH has requested that I try to make a bloomer loaf with a sea salt and pepper crust (like you get at tesco). Plus, I love kneading dough.

It's an okayish price. When I search through the completed listings, there are a couple that went for as low as £15 and median is roughly £25, so I'd rather hold out for that sort of bargain than pay £35+. Stingy, moi? :p

Anyone looking for cool baby boy clothes needs to check out H&M. We got some absolutely gaw-jus stuff in there today after struggling to find anything interesting in Next or M&S. I highly recommend it.

What sort of stuff GISI? We like bright colours and I'm on the lookout for some smart clothes too. The H&M in Livingston is total pap tho and the only other one I can think of is in Princes St and would be a major financial operation to go to as would have to take DD with me! She can smell a shopping trip a mile off! I hate shopping which is why I shop online constantly!!

I always get confused with this, to have a natural twin pregnancy, do you need to have twins in the mothers side, the fathers side, both or neither?!? I think I remember having this conversation before on here and Susan knew the answer but I can't remember :o

OH's Gran (FIL's mum) is a twin and there are twins on MIL's side too but none in mine
Non-identical twins can run in the mother's family but identical twins are just random. Non-identical twins can also randomly happen so I have brothers who are twins even though it doesn't run in the family.

LOL I'm sure you don't mean that!

Beenie, if that was me I'd send the chuffin thing back to her! I 'fall out' with things when they start to !!!! me off and end up hating them anyway :o

I think that non-identical twins pass down the maternal line, since the likelihood of having them is caused by an increased likelihood that you produce more than one egg at ovulation and that can be hereditary....ooh get me and my A at A-Level Biology :rotfl:. I'm not sure there has been found to be any evidence that identical twins run in families, but I may be wrong on that.

Clothes wise we got some nice combats in beige and stripy blue, a very cute monkey bright coloured vest, some long-sleeved vests and a superman baby grow! They had lovely bright vests in all colours for £1.99 and some very, very cute short sleeved checked shirts in various colourways for about a fiver. Definitely the best value I have seen.

Matalan also have some cute little shirts http://www.matalan.co.uk/fcp/categorylist/dept/kids_infants-fashion?resetFilters=true (about half way down the page). We got a gorgeous black and white checked one with a black tie, but it's not showing online.

My daughter is already 3 and a bit months old and I just thought 'I never joined the parents thread!!!' As Jessica is our first child, we are definitely learning as we go along so I'm here for a bit of advice. This is our routine at the moment:

Jessica wakes any time between 7.30 and 8.30 (although a couple of times, she has slept later than this). She drains a 7oz bottle of formula then is quite happy to either lay on her changing mat or sit in her boucy chair often nodding off at some point during the morning for a short nap. SHe then has lunch, also a drained 7oz bottle of formula anytime btween 12noon and 1pm, then again happy to play during the afternoon with again a nap or two. Tea time is between 4pm and 5pm then supper at about 8pm, both 7ozs of formula. We then 'top her up' about 9.30 - 9.45 with 2-3 ozs the she goes down about 10pm and sleeps through the night. SHe is sleeping in her own cot in her own room and has been for several weeks - we can't believe how well she took to it right from the beginning.

She naps a few times during the day, depending on whether I'm at home all day or at my Mum's (she often sleeps on the 20 minute journey) or if we take her out for a walk but no significant long periods of sleep during the day anymore.

SHe is a well settled little girl but does anyone have any useful advice or if things need changing. We can't wait to start giving her something more than milk but all the literature advises against this but I think she is ready for it.

Here's hoping for any useful advice you might all want to pas on.

    Regards

    Emma

Only skim read the last page...

The Buzz Bint sent me a reply
hi, could you please send me the puschair back them please? thanks
I'm not happy to do this without my postage costs up front, how does that work then?? Cos i know she wouldn't refund my postage and it's about £15!!! And if i could get her to pay my postage i'd just say that's my basket money then ta very much byeee

Should i just open the dispute? I just want a partial refund or the basket, looks like she's playing me here, to try and call my bluff.
