What do you remember of 1985?
    :p

'85 I started High school, at good old Tommy More (said in a proper Wigan accent). It has been demolished since, sob:cry:
Hey there you with a sad face, come up to my place, and live it up :D

Mental as anything. Was that from Crocodile Dundee?

pretty sure he didn't make it up MFD :p
he told me how he and daddy were waiting for ages at the train station for me and Grandma to come off the train and when I asked where Ed was he said it was when he was in my tummy.
Which is all true, mum n I went to a trade show at the gmex on the train when I was about 7mths pg with Ed and the train was late getting back :D

When Joe was younger he could remember things that happened a while back. Like Chris. But if you ask him about that particular time now he has forgotten it. If that makes sense.

Oh yes and i was born in '74, along with the lovely Weezl. And am so pleased that I am not the eldest.

My memory is shocking, I do remember the Pope coming to Liverpool and my mum making my dad take us and having to walk for miles and miles and stand about waiting and then one drive past in his Pope mobile and he was gone. But apparently that was '82.

I do remember Lennon being shot and I was 6. Have vague memories of one day at pre-school, where i screamed the place down. And a few of my first year of school, but before that i draw a blank.

Glam Jack is gorgeous and can't wait to meet him.

    Oh forgot, Fab shoes Aless.

Aless i've seen some listings where the basket doesn't come with it, but it was in the photo so i fully expected to get it. But she did list what came with it and didn't mention the basket so i think she's gonna argue it.

She seems to have stripped everything off to sell separately, cos i bought the bag on another listing from same seller. Greedy minge-bag
Anyway i will leave her a grey or red if i don't get both things cos i didn't like her attitude from the start.

Csh i cleared it now! Hate clearing my PM's i'm far too sentimental :A

I really need some motivation to get going today! Me and K still in our jammies eating toast. I need to go to my mums for a wee visit.
K is going on his first proper trip without Mummy and Daddy tomorrow!!! The IL's are taking him visiting round the rellies. I am working 10am-7pm and OH is nightshift tonight so will be sleeping tomorrow.
They'll only have him 9.30am til 4.30pm but its the longest he'll have been away. There will be so much going on tho that I'm sure he won't even notice I'm not there!
Next Sat they have him 7.30am-7.30pm as OH and I both 12hr dayshift! Poor wee orphan Kieren!

red - totally sympathise about how hard men are to talk to, my OH just thinks am moaning/having a go when I talk to him and nothing gets thru, not that he is particularly bad but just some stuff he does/doesnt do are annoying and rather than it brewing I try to tell him like he tells me, but its all one sided grr!

Beenie - Happy Birthday :D Hope your Buzz arrives today. Love the mobile soother you got Amber :D

Aless - have been looking at L&Gs too and changed the setting on ebay to show all completed listings, in our area they seem to go for between £10 and £40 so am aiming at about the £25/£30 mark. Currently bidding on one and winning at £6.50 but doubt it'll stay there. Shoes are lush but like you eek at the heel!

newbiemaz - yeay for wedding and mse wedding rings :D

kindof - am so behind on supernatural! But have been watching White Collar, V, Human Target, Cougar Town, Smallville, NCIS, Bones, crossing jordon, Diagnosis Murder, Murdoch Misteries, Sue Thomas FBEye, Sanctuary and Glee. Thos some of those are finnishing so have been looking at new stuff :D Legend of the Seeker, Eureka, Heroes, Numbers and Dexter are on my list for next lol Its one of the few up sides of T feeding so much!

Glam - love the hat pics :D

Totally wanna go and get that Tesco meal deal now lol.

Well gonna attempt to fill in some more of the TC form really need to get it done or we'll loose the money as T is 9 weeks on Monday! Might be a bit messy tho cos its my stupid right index finger thats all strapped up and still ouchie :(

If it gets too much will just have to console myself by watching Richard Armitage in Strike Back.
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpuls

Gahhh!!! My bridesmaid dress & shoes just arrived. Pretty and all, but my sister has picked shoes with 3 1/2" heels!:eek: alright for some, but I seriously wobble on anything over 1 1/2"...oh dear, lots and lots of practicing in the next 2 months, I suppose. The dress is really pretty, but is a tad bit loose so I'm going to have to figure out how to find a tailor around here...
I found my wedding dress altering lady in the yellow pages (in the actual paper book like you did in the 90's ) I phoned a few and she sounded nice and told me she also did the in house alterations for a local bridal shop so I picked her :)
I'd maybe ask on the special occasions board, I'm sure they'll be plenty of ladies near you to recommend someone.

I too will say you have a fab set of pins!
Have you ever tried mould-able insoles? in the pic it looks like you put the weight on your feet more on the outside than totally flat and the fancy insoles would counteract that and hopefully stop your wobbling in those gorgeous shoes.

Have both of Tuesdays episodes waiting on SKY+. Only thing is I have to wait for OH to actually sit down and watch it with me. As is not "American Sh1te", and involves guns, so therefore acceptable viewing.
  • Happy Birthday Beenie and Reece :D

I managed to sleep thanks to Benylin nighttime cold capsule (and a sleepy son, thank god) but nose is still bunged/runny this morning. I need to get rid of it soon or I will be infecting everyone with my kisses next Wednesday!

I am very jealous of your lovely set of pins Aless. Mine are like rugby players legs :D

Am thoroughly ashamed to say I am sat picking at an Asda cooked chicken which I picked up on the way in this morning. I bought bread rolls to go with it but they remain unopened :o If I wasn't convinced it is terrible for your health I could happily do the Atkins diet!

I did the Atkins diet after i stopped bf'ing my DS. It was good, i felt great loads of energy and lost loads of weight. But i didn't wean myself back onto carbs and do the maintenance programme so piled it all back on.
