Gah.. have been trying to get Rhys to nap for the last 90mins. He's been doing the face rubbing, whingy thing for the whole 90mins but the two times he's been close to settling, I've had phone calls right at that moment! He's finally off now and I'm resisting the urge to join him :o

Aless, gorg shoes (and nice legs!!).

    Quorn chicken rocks :D
Even when I did eat meat, many moons ago, I couldn't eat anything off the bone. It had to not look like animal :rotfl:

I have lots to do today but CBA :o

eBay: a Mummy from my baby club received an Inland Revenue investigation letter in connection with not registering her 'ebay business' and paying tax!. She is a private seller just selling old stuff like we all do but it has made me worry :o.

SB i thought you only had to register and pay tax if you bought stuff to sell on at a profit, not if you just sold your own used stuff?

Never had Bauers or anything. She takes her 6 year old and he is apparently a wizz at the skating thing on his inline skates. Joe would so be on his !!! along with me.:rotfl:

Sami, they have no rental facilities yet. Think they are trying trying to raise enough cash to get the stock. Opens Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun

Beenie - the picture DEFINITELY has the basket, so it's more than reasonable that the stroller should come as pictured - otherwise it's deceptive selling. If she gets stroppy, tell her you will open a dispute because eBay will definitely side with you.

Also, if you look at her feedback, 2 other people have moaned about the strollers she's sold (which seems to be a bit of a side business for her, hmmmmmm)

Thanks for the recs on finding an alterer for the dress...will prolly get on it next month :).

Beenie I hope you haven't bought anything dodgy off ebay because I'm off to snoop at your past purchases now :p

Lol :D No i haven't :p I am nosey like that too and i HATE that it stops showing what was bought after 90 days LOL. Also hate people who set their listings as private for no apparent reason. I'm trying to remember what my private purchase was now...

edit OH!! It was a Victorian costume for DS school lol!

That's so weird, I've just got off the phone to my brother who's coming round for sunday lunch and he's been telling me his girlfriends 'rules' about food. No meat on the bone still, no two items to be touching incase she doesn't like it and its then contaminated something else, no 'weird' things like cooking with fruit/jam glazes on meat. And no olives! Their were more but I tuned out :rotfl:

A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
  • WM - what fantastic news! I hope it makes a difference.

And Glam - what fantastic advice :T

SB - you would have to earn more than the tax threshold to be liable for tax. My dad registered and the IR practically laughed him out of town!

Unless she is trading lots and lots it is probably just an enquiry letter. If she calls them she should be able to sort it out.
