  • That's so weird, I've just got off the phone to my brother who's coming round for sunday lunch and he's been telling me his girlfriends 'rules' about food. No meat on the bone still, no two items to be touching incase she doesn't like it and its then contaminated something else, no 'weird' things like cooking with fruit/jam glazes on meat. And no olives! Their were more but I tuned out :rotfl:

I can understand no meat on the bone - some people just don't like it. I would then purposefully ignore everything else!!

I remember the first Christmas after we were married I had 13 of OH's family for an early Christmas Day on 13th December (his mum went to Florida for a month on 14th). SIL is SO fussy that I told her to bring her own (tins of) potatoes, peas and carrots and I didn't want to hear if she liked anything else or not. Can't be doing with fussy people - if she thought I was buying tins of peas, carrots and potatoes (only Morrisons own brand) then she had another thing coming!!

    Last week in November ?

    December 3rd. :D (You're older!) :rotfl:

Delivery came charging full price :( waiting for customer serv. to call me back.

Boogly I don't like meat with bones - it reminds me it's an animal! DS can't have any of his food touching - if he gets bean juice on any chips, he has to leave those chips! Is she a little bit autistic?

    Glam Loving cool Jack!

Yey Elle they didn't find out you were a builder called Dave! :rotfl:

I was thinking last night SB is one of the few people now, who we don't have proof isn't a builder called Dave.:rotfl: And [STRIKE]he[/STRIKE] she can't make it next week.

Oh and CM's new 'toy' was unveiled this morning...

    Ta Da:
    Brilliant :D

Aless - fabby shoes. I love them! What good taste the bride has :D

Beanie - its a hard one. I agree that if the picture has the basket in it then it is reasonable to expect you are bidding on that too - even though she didn't list it in the advert, she didn't specify that it wasn't included. I would get in touch with her and 'discuss it via email!'

well - we have had a wonderful naptime. usually I have to sit and pat/rock LO to sleep on the couch. Today, following on from last night i put her in her slepeing bag, cuddled her in her dark room for a few minutes, lay her in the cot and settled her/patted her back for a couple of mins, then said night night and left the room. She moaned 4 times then out like a light! I'm amazed, very pleased there was no battle and seeing that there may be light at the end on my forever-disrupted-evening-rocking-baby-to-sleep tunnel!

so off for a jaffa cake and cuppa to celebrate before a trip to see an old friend this afternoon :D
