ha'penny..i remember when an aniseed ball was a ha'penny.

i have an old sixpence :) my granny gave me

been to HV. Kian is following the 9th centile and they have no concerns over his weight. said with the food (can you tell i have this on my mind constantly) that some babies prefer milk to food and he is doing really well. not to stress myself over it. and the recommendations are based on babies who are eating 3 decent meals a day. so having 5 bottles a day is fine.

now i know everyone on here has told me this a gazillion times and i really appreciate it. i just like to have a professional tell me too... its a me thing no offence to anyone on here.

my friends GD is still in hospital, all i have heard is that she was takn in with a very high temp, and are doing tests for meningitis. (although my other friend who mentioned meningitis said she may have got that bit wrong) they are doing a few diff tests and xrays

I remember big 5ps and 10ps, and pound notes.

My first memory is the death of John Lennon. I was in my cot in my parents' room and the phone rang. It was dark and everyone was sleeping, my mother answered the phone and was really upset.

i broke my arm when i was 2 1/2 cant remember it but can remember the day when i was 4 1/2 and someone took my apple from my lunch at school. and who i was sat beside when my tooth fell out at school.

Thanks BM - I just think it's normal. Maybe I should be a more worried Mummy sometimes :rotfl:

    Gorgeous picture too :)

Edit: Tia I've just finished my ebay photos and have made another very ambitious list to keep me going for the rest of the evening :D
I found a bunch of McDonalds vouchers for 2 for 1 etc and have made an executive decision regarding dinner.

Death of Lennon is one of my earlier really crystal clear memories but I was already 6. I certainly remember ha'pennies but not in the way that 3's grandfather did. And pound notes yep. In general I have truly fuzzy childhood memory though, OH is frequently amazed that I can't remember xxxxxx thing about my childhood! :(

I think she was about 13/14 months there Tia, as it was AFTER her 1st birthday (April) but clearly in Summer time, as Ellie is in the picture (off nursery) and the sun is out (omfg!)

Mastering the art of walking on one foot.

Even though she had been walking since 10months, she was still kinda stiff when walking, I don't think they can bend their knees until a certain point or when it fuses or something? I'm sure there is a reason why they walk like roboto's though!

Bikinis lol, last summer Keira spent the day at my mums and she took the paddling pool out and Keira wore one of ellies bikinis. I thought she looked pretty cute in it (my mum took pics) She must have her dads skin though, as you could see she had a bit of a tan and she had bikini lines :rotfl:

I was shocked to find the other day that Freddos are 17p! When did that happen, they've been 10p forever!

I remember ha'pennys and I remember my Nan giving me 2p to go to the shop for sweets. I knew that if I picked 1/2p ones I could get more! :money:

My earliest memory is at 2 1/2 being in the childrens hospital, standing in a metal cot, looking through the metal bars on the windows at my Mum and Grandad getting into the car to go home! :( I've been traumatised ever since. ;)

My silly 14yo uncle had been teasing me that his prescription tablets were sweeties and he wouldn't let me have one. So I got up extra early and went downstairs to eat them all. I also remember the hospital making me drink some green gloop, and me running up the ward with a really wiggly tummy!

I always wonder do you only remember bad things from childhood, do they stick in your memory for longer?

Bruno I think Lennon died the week after my 7th birthday - I didn't realise you were as old as me!
