Evening everyone,
I have a vague memory of pound notes, halfpennies and 20ps being introduced.
I have no memory of Lennon be killed (I would have been 3 or 4)
All I can remember from my earliest days is putting conjunctivitis cream in my dolls eyes and looking at a hard boiled egg one day and thinking yuch what's that black ring and I've not been able to eat them since!
No idea what we're going to call Katies parts as she gets bigger, I think I just called it my bum. DH has a tail according to Katie.
Hugs to everyone.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Thread was busy and it was at the bottom of a page.
My earliest memory is painting on an easel with potatoes at nursery.
And my first news memory was Freddie Mercury dying i think?! I'd have been about 6 then0 -
A "piece" is a sandwich in Scotland! It's funny though, I would never say a "piece and tuna" or a "piece and gammon salad" but it seemed to go right with sausage in that sentence. And I might have a "piece and jam".
Tia, Caz, Csh - help me out please!
A link piece is correct, with tomato sauce (not ketchup) or red sauce.
1 black bag of rubbish out of my room, anyone need some 4 years out of date condoms? I cleared out 'that' drawer, good job I pulled the drawers out (built in units) to check, there were some rather... interesting catalogues that had fallen down under! :rotfl:Would have been fun if Christian BIL were to help DH dismantle that in a few weeks time  and also :rotfl:but mostly :rotfl:
I'm feeling better with every black bag! But I'm down to 1 left :eek:0 -

I remember being told at primary school Freddie Mercury had died but I remember talking to the builder than was working on my parents house when I was about 4.5 yrs old asking him what he was doing - nosy little bu99er even then!
Man bits are called dinkles here and we're not sure about lady bits yet but Charlie did make us laugh the other day when he said Charlie's dinkle, then pointed to Reece's as they were going in the bath. I thought whilst I'm here I'll have a tiddle and Charlie piped up "mummy's dinkles gone!! We couldn't stop laughing! DH and I refer to mine bits as minky but don't really want the boys to pick that one up but as a child it was called mary in our house - as in leave your mary alone etc lol! But not really suitable now (MIL's name!)
I've lost 6lbs in weight over the last two weeks but its been a real struggle! Dr has referred me for some blood tests to check for under active thyroid, so that'll be fine as I've got to take the boys with me:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

I'm soooo bored. Dh has taken over the lappy, and there's only rubbish on tv.
Ss, lol enjoy ur mcd's. We were naughty and had pizza for lunch (new one opened down the road, so major cheap promo offers to be had) so it's fend-for-yourself dinner. Is mcd's different in germany like it is in france? I can't remember!

I think McDs have regional specialities. There are a lot of weird things on the mcmenu here including a chicken rucola burger that looks appalling. Molly has a french fry with the salt wiped off and ketchup with periperi and lime and she is also loving it :rotfl:
Husband has retired to bed again clutching his stomach; I am now feeling uncomfortable distended about the belly. Perhaps all that food was a mistake ... but I definitely burned it off today!
MFD I was 18 when I bought my first CD, and it was a Smashing Pumpkins single. My dad had a mobile phone that was the size of two bricks taped together :rotfl:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Oooohhh McDonalds. I have veggie stir fry for later.
Claire, did you juts ask your GP to test you for it? My friend has an under active thyroid and she mentioned that my neck is a bit swollen, plus the lack of energy and weight gain, I'm thinking of asking for blood tests to be done. But some of the GP's here can be a bit arsey if you ask for a test.0
