My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Yes. We were offered via a letter from our doc many months ago - end of last year sometime? We were asked to book or call and inform the doc if we weren't going to have it. We refused and then we got another letter from the local PCT warning us that we were putting our child at increased risk by not having it
Having looked into it, we decided not to have Alice have the Swine Flu vaccine because a) the risk didn't appear to be any greater than seasonal flu (young children more likely to catch it but it has a lower mortality rate) and b) Alice is rarely ill. I'm just a bit miffed that after spending all that time considering the matter we didn't even get offered it.
ETA: Apparently they discontinued it for healthy children under five atthe end of March.

My car seat came! this one
I thought she would be a bit small, but tried her in it and she looks a lot more comfy and supported than the first stage one, so will swap them over later on.
Only bad point is the material is that 'pooky' stuff, you know, you catch it with a nail or your ring and the material will pull. Looks like it will bobble quite quickly too. But then ebay have replacement covers.
Plumber came to quote for plumbing for the ensuite and the bits and bobs. Won't be anywhere near as expensive as we thought, there is hot and cold running water up there and a waste down pipe too! Woohoo!!! Good job, we have picked an expensive shower from B&Q....0 -
