Gosh, I wouldn't have dreamed of asking my Dad for that sort of money at 18, but then I left home at 17 and had a job lol...

GISI, I'm not sure if your baby has to be under 6 months to donate? So you might be cutting it fine... But any milk is better than no milk!!!

Pigpen, what does KH stand for?

  • Any idea why there is the six month age limit, Krystal? I clearly should have got my butt in gear and done it sooner. Hopefully I can still give something though.

Because it changes to meet baby's nutritional needs and the milk from a milk bank is more often than not used on premies and newborns rather than older babies... I don't know though, whether you can continue to donate past 6 months if you're already registered with the milk bank?

But they'll be able to tell you all their own practises :)

Well he thinks he is hard done by and begrudges paying that.. and more often than not he just doesn't pay anything!!

  • Thanks, I'll wait and see what they say. If I can't do it this time then hopefully I can next time.

I need to be in bed but I'm enjoying chilling out and having some me time too much. I'll be a grump in the morning when I have to get up with the boy.
