Next door (not the side that were told off by HO last week) were taking the pish earlier so i lost it a bit... Dug out my big speakers, and put my big stereo on "karaoke mode" so that it was thundery and bassy (just like i hear all day from the idiots), turned it up full blast and took the dog and kids to the park for an hour.

I was half hoping they'd be braying on my door when i got back but no such luck, but they've gone a lot quieter now pmsl. Shame the other side still have their TV on loud enough to compete with mine but i can just about handle that.

And the kids were doing my head in so i plonked them both in my bed with a bottle of formula and DS was feeding her, all is quiet so i'm assuming they're asleep, daren't check yet though lol!!

Thanks for hugs...I am sorry to come on here complaining. I will pull myself together now and go and read. I usually try not to complain about things and am one of those people who puts a big false front on, so if anyone asks if I am ok I smile and gush about how fine I am feeling etc etc. I refuse to ask anyone for help, even dh. He goes mad at me because I do things like carry big flatpack boxes of drawers etc up the stairs, and build big tall bookcases on my own or climb ladders in the garden to cut hedges. I pay for it in my own way as my back/pelvis end up in agony, but I can't help myself....I refuse to ask for help. I am also suffering because I am going mental/paranoid and can't bring myself to go to bed before dh as I am convinced he is up to something on the PC the minute I go to bed, so I am forcing myself to stay up until he goes up which is usually between 11.30-1am I am exhausted and furious with myself for being so silly....it looks even sillier now I have written it down!

Anyway that's my silly little problem, I can go back to pretending everythhing is fine now;)

Caz i hope you get sorted soon, i must admit the tablets have got rid of my weepyness, do you have pnd are tablets an option or do you think it's something else?

I've managed to get stuck in a rut of eating chips a lot, out of pure lazyness. I try and have some form of veg with every meal, even if it's just beans (seriously, lol).

Uh oh i hear Amber crying :(

JHA - T was whiney tonight so I managed to prepare our dinner by putting him in his bouncy chair and bringing him into the kitchen with me (away from worktops for safety incase anything fell off!!) and I put the radio on and sung and danced around the kitchen whilst preparing it, he loved my singing and dancing, lol, glad someone does :) When he was younger I used to do the same but by putting him in the pram in the kitchen doorway and I would talk him through everything I was doing, he got a full run down of each step of the cooking process and it seemed to do the trick!! HTH and was the sort of thing you were after!! xx

jha- I didn't really find a solution to getting things done when H was younger. I just did housework when DH was here also. While I showered he used to go in his bouncy chair in the bathroom with me. Now he goes in his cot while I shower.

These days I find I can get about 30 minutes each out of him in his jumperoo, highchair and rolling under his play gym as long as he can see me. This has only happened in the last couple of weeks though.

Kindof- at my Dr it is just jabs, no weighing or anything as there are always tons of people waiting for jabs during the timeslot.

I'm on bed on my iPod as I feel like poo. Hugs to those in need.

Beenie I was catching up earlier and laughing as I am the same as u with prams at the mo!! We went through a phase where I mainly did frozen food for dinner, say frozen chips with a frozen chicken burger and beans. We seem to have got out of that now and the things we tend to have now are:

Pasta and sauce (just a cheap jar one)
Chicken curry and rice (jar sauce again)
Ham egg and chips (but making chips from potatoes rather than frozen)
    Stir fry
    Bacon, eggs, toast and beans
Easy roast (say having a pork chop instead of a joint of meat)

Since we have been having these type of dinners we are enjoying them more, but they are not taking me long to cook else I wouldnt be managing to do them, lol!!

  • Mel - ((HUGS)) hun - why don't you try asking for a little help from someone every week? Then maybe every 5 days? And work down. I understand that it is difficult but you are going to burn yourself out. Doesn't need to be anything big, just get a little assistance.

Do you have any reason to worry about what hubby is up to on the net?

JHA - I still only really do housework when hubby is here. Stuff it is what I say :rotfl::rotfl:
