I completely understand if you can't be faffed to respond at length:D, but I'd be very interested in any feedback on what a normal family wouldn't eat, cos that's what would make the site better, if it really helps real families IYSWIM?

So any opinions very gratefully received. (only be gentle;), it is hundreds of hours work so far- I kid you not!)

I feel bad being critical but as a non old styler or frugalist or whatever term you fancy, I wouldn't believe that Thursday of week 2 is enough food to sustain anyone for a day! Even with 1 each of the allowed snacks!
Also, there is not much variation on the meals with only about 15 mains rotated, 3 of which are pasta dishes, 8 lunch options and 5 breakfast. (frorgive me if the maths is a bit out).

We are a normal family! I fancy a few things but could not feed that planner to my family for a month and believe I was giving them enough of what they need.
I fear that you would have to be used to frugal ways and then take things a step further with this than go from actual 'normal' eating. IYKWIM????
I don't think I'm explaining myself very clearly but to sum it up 'it'd be a hard sell to the man on the street'

    Was I gentle :o

Have you been to the GP? You should maybe go and get your bloods done. I was like that when I had Glandular Fever x

with 1 snack that day is 2,200 calories CSH, with 2 snacks it's 2, 500, with 3 it's 2,650. Some of the days are a little more you're right, but it's the day with the spanish omelette that I'm more concerned about, but none of the testers (18 most days/21 all days) people who've done it for a month minded that one as there was a generous portion of HM wedges to go with it. (300 lurkers also did it, but I can't know their feedback unless they post).

In terms of giving the family what they need, it does, so I'm wondering what the site would need to say to reassure of that fact? Interested in your thoughts.

I doubt anyone in the street wants to live at that level (it's very barely above subsistence) it's really intended to help people get out of a severe financial hole.

variety wise, the average family rotate 6 dishes, so this is fortunately a little better than that.

    Hope those thoughts help explain.

Um, no, it wasn't gentle, but it was honest and I know you meant it to help me :)

Just popping in quickly to say hello and glad glam is feeling better. Is there anywhere on this forum where i can find tips on babycare for people who are struggling a bit / or for babies that dont sleep much during the day ? - e.g. "pop baby in a car seat whilst you have a shower" or "use your slow cooker" or "make a list of housework and whoever comes to visit or oh just does them"?

Hugs to caz - i am in the same position at the mo but with only one baba to care for. there is some great helpful stuff on netmums (if i can say that) - i got to see my hv again today (at last) but they never seem to be around when you need them <<HUGS>>

Caz, have you thought about calling the samaritans? There's always someone at the end of the phone to talk to hun ((hugs))
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
